No because Cottos team wants money, they see more money in DLH then they do Mayweather.

Let's see what will finally happen, I'm still curious by Juda's next step. If this is true of course.

You don't know that Mayweather would fight Cotto, that's all speculation until the fighters sign on the dotted line.

I don't think Mayweather wants to get beat up and possibly lose his zero status. There are easier fights, like rematching ODL, or a smaller Ricky Hatton.

It is bull**** because you are saying Mayweather is ducking Cotto, and the only reason you give is because Mayweather is fighting De la Hoya. There is no logical connection between both things.

Also, remember that Arum was already making plans for Cotto BEFORE the Hatton-Mayweather fight -he said that Cotto may fight Clottey and then Margarito, now apparently he'll fight Gomez and then Margarito. That was before Hatton-Mayweather. After Hatton-Mayweather, Evangelista Cotto said that they preferred a fight against De la Hoya instead of a fight against Mayweather, because it would be more marketeable. I could also make a connection between both anecdotes and end up with one conclusion: Cotto, and Arum, are ducking Mayweather. In fact, yes, possibly Arum doesn't want his fighter to lose against Mayweather. Remember 2005...Arum said "no" to a Cotto-Mayweather bout.

So, I think that the evidence to say "Cotto is ducking Mayweather" is more concrete than the evidence to say "Mayweather is ducking Cotto".

lol, Stop talking like a little ***** because its pretty much beyond gay how hard you pretty boys try so hard to believe that Cotto doesn't want to fight Floyd, And I find it completely hysterical that you think Cotto has to get on a mic and say something along the lines of "**** you Floyd you're nothing but a *****!!! My fights are AWSOME and yours are so BORING!!"(exaggeration)

Cotto is a man, a mature gentleman and conducts himself in boxing in a completely respectful way. All he needs to say is I want to fight Floyd Mayweather which he already has and he doesn't have to ****ing repeat himself.

I never stated Cotto doesn't want Floyd. I said mangement doesn't. Which is true, Floyd is not on there radar. They want the money fight with DLH over a fight with Mayweather.

Find that quote for us then.

So let me get this straight. They ask Cotto if he wants to fight Floyd and he says "I'll fight whoever my management wants me to fight". They ask Floyd if he wants to fight Cotto and he says "I'm not calling anybody out at 147 right now"? Please tell me what is the difference?

Floyd is ****ing running circles around Cotto as long as he can b ecause he wants Money as a priority over fighting someone who could give him a challenge like Cotto. I'm not here saying Cotto is going to beat Floyd's ass, But its a fight that boxing needs, Not ****ing gay sex with DLH.

Obviously Bob Arum is a ***** but if Floyd picked his opponents with the balls of Fighters out of the 90s then I wouldn't say bull****. Floyd could have fought Cotto now and Gomez could have ****ing been DLHs "tune up"

First Cotto was to green (that was acceptable he only had 20 or so fights at the time)
Then Cotto brings no money (bull****)
Now "I'm not calling out no welterweights"

well Floyd Cotto's offer and interest to fight you has always been on the Table.

You ****ers act like Floyd doesn't know or have the slightest clue to the demands or suggestions of all the boxing fans around the world. FLOYD KNOWS Cotto is there he KNOWS the whole world wants to see it. So instead we're gonna get Cotto vs Floyd probably in 09 when it could have been this year and thus we're going to get Cotto vs Gomez and probably Cotto vs Margarito/Cintron (if it happens) Later this year.

So don't ***** about Cotto fighting Gomez.

    Exactly. :deal

I ask: What prove or evidence there is to know that Cotto wants to fight Mayweather?

Cotto fights anyone that Arum puts in front of him. Arum doesn't want Mayweather there.

Cintron is gonna get KO'ed again and maybe even earlier this time around. I'm not a big fan of Margarito but if that club fighter Jesse Feliciano gave Cintron ALOT of trouble then he's gonna get KTFO when he fights Margarito, I'd bet my life savings on that!

Maybe you people need Cotto to be in front of your face and he can say it in broken english and then maybe you guys could understand the fact that Cotto wants to fight Mayweather.

I want to see Floyd fight Cotto more than you do but I can wait until 09 when it is an even bigger event. If I had my way Cotto, Floyd, Cintron, and Williams would all fight this year and the winners would fight for the unified title next year.

And Cottos management doesn't. Remember, Cotto fights who his management puts in front of him.
