I cant beleive Kermit is fighting so soon after his fight with Molina and this is another style that could be all wrong for him IMO is all wrong for him... Smith is a pretty solid fighter I love his defense his in fighting his counter punching the whole bit I have nothing bad to say about Smith...
Cintron hasnt looked very good recently and maybe looking to cash in before he is told to look for a new line of work I really hope he wins here but I like smith in this fight.... hard to pick a winner, but if I have to I am going to go with the guy who is mentally in better shape and thats smith.. I think he frustrates cintron and closes the show on him.. but in a sense I hope i am wrong...

I think he's trying to avoid falling into gatekeeper status. Maybe he's hoping that a big win against Smith will keep him in contention for bigger fights in the future. I'm not too familiar with Smith apart from the fact that he got stopped by a Lanardo Tyner who is nothing special.

He has pulled off a few upsets the kid has a good style I like the way he fights its more of a Cotto/mayweather hybrid like style:good

This should be an interesting scrap Smith is pretty good but nothing special. Cintron is just trying to stay busy which I applaud him for.

Kermit better hope it was just ring rust and a style clash against Molina, cause he seriously looked like he was moving underwater against Carlos.

Could be too quick of a turn-around.

this one caught me off guard. I didn't even hear about it until yesterday. This is a solid fight but Kermit getting back in their so quickly leads me to believe he's taking this serious. It'll be competitive but I think Cintron pulls out a close decision.

I have a gut feeling Cintron's power will resurface in this fight.

Kermit has had more than a handful of opportunities to place himself as one of the best and FAILED every time...this fight means nothing more than a somewhat recognizable name in the awesome FNF show.

If it turns out is wasn't ring rust then Smith will be an embarrassing loss for him. Not sure what happened to Cintron, guy looked HORRIBLE against Molina.

Meh, thats not really fair. Two of his 4 losses were to Margarito, a known cheater and Cintrons comments after the first fight are interesting in hindsight considering what we know about Margarito. He fought as well against MArtinez as anyone has. Had a good win over Angulo, a real monster in his own right, and IMO he was winning the Williams fight when williams took cintron down and threw him out of the ring after eating repeated power shots to the chin.

Cintron at his best is a solid addition to the 154 pound division.

He is mentally weak, its a shame because i believe he has the tools to be one of the top dogs at 154 but im sorry im not holding my breath for this.Hopefully he puts forth an entertaining effort and can get back on track to a molina/angulo rematch maybe even take out "half a tank" Lara, but its all wishful thinking at this point.

Lara and Cintron have the same trainer, we wouldn't see that anyway.
