I guess Steward came to his damn senses. Cintron is such a fraud. Just when the fight fans were gonna give him some due respect, he has a bad night against a ****** and now is unsure off himself and pulls the plug on the Williams fight....a fight I think he could have won. What a fraud.:-(

Well outta the four new names mentioned Zab, Quintana, Mayorga or Collazo who would you like to see Williams pummell

Imma go with Mayorga as it was said by Goosen that Zab was contacted and wants no part of Williams.

PS.....Zab gets more title shots than anyone I've ever seen.

Steward came to his senses & Cintron is a fraud - you're funny.

Steward made his comments before getting the word from the doctors - the kid hand is messed up right now. If he takes the fight and lose - we all know what the excuse is going to be. So, why not wait until his hand is healed - so there are no excuses.

Cintron and Williams are both in the same boat. They're trying to make names for themselves and fighting each other is a pretty good way of doing it.

Get back in the ring with Margarito. Alot of people felt that fight deserved an immediate rematch anyways, contrary to mandatory ruling.

Ringside had it 115-113 for Margarito, others had it for Williams. In any case the rematch is valid.

Cintron has severe ligament damage, what is the problem with taking the time to let that heal? on top of that, cintrons team requested that goosen wait until March for the fight, at which time cintron's hand should be ok, but Goosen said "NO, we are fighting on Feb 2nd with or without you." I am not saying Paul is ducking cintron at all, he has every right to keep that date, but cintron is legitimately injured and still wants this fight, he just cant take it 2 months from now.

Why you hatin on an injured guy?

    This is really off?

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Sorry, I have to say this: Cintron is scared of Williams :yep

(Just like Vitali was "scared" of Rahman. Although Cintron DOES have reasons to be scared of Williams).

Cintron is just a fringe contender that was lucky to get a title shot and beat an easy opponent to get it. He's not elite.

Let me add that facing Williams would've just added another loss to his career. There is no ****ing way he'll out box a man with motor hands.

How is he scared? They still want to fight williams, they just asked for another month to let his hand heal, but Pwils team wants to go ahead with their Feb 2nd date. How is this cintron being scared? i think it's just him wanting time to heal his hand and then fighting.

    I was joking.

I was saying that Cintron is scared of Williams just like Vitali was scared of Rahman. And Vitali was obviously not scared of Rahman.

WHo the hell wants to take this fight with Williams. He is a beast. I dont see anybody lining up to take this fight. DOn KIng should let Mayorga anywhere near Williams, Mayorga only has about one or two big paydays left, against Williams he would not make that much, and he would be destroyed.

Sorry, i have been on the defensive about this all day, so it was a gut reaction. It just pisses me off that people dont seem to want to believe what a very well respected hand specialist has to say about cintron's injury and dont do their research before posting. Everyone wants to speculate and jump to conclusions instead of doing their reading and making insightful and thoughtful posts.

What do you think about Cintron against the winner of Floyd-Hatton? It could happen in March or April.

I would prefer to see the winner fighting Cotto, but Arum is already making fights like Cotto-De la Hoya in May (or Cotto-Clottey if that doesn't work) and Cotto-Margarito in July.

I am sure that hishand is injured. I would know better than anyone, but what I think people really have a problem with is the acting job he did after the fight. He was fine the whole fight even punched hard with the hand from time to time. Fights over he celebrates, then outta nowhere he acts like he is dying. For the record.. after the Teddy Reid fight did you see him flop to the ground and roll around in pain? NOPE. Why do I ask? Well here is the diagnosis of Dr. Kulp after that fight. Fracture to the 3rd metacarpal. A rupture of the third extensor tendon. A rupture of the third metacarpophalangeal joint capsule, and finally avascular necrosis. Is the hand injured? Most likely yes. Its the severity of the injury and the reaction to it that I think people are questioning.
