The real question is why is he fighting Lovemore in the first place .. Lovemore is 140 pounder who was so desperate for a fight he tried challenging Mundine.

 

Wrong. It wasn't even that close. Lovemore was tough enough to go the distance and managed to land some right hands over the top with some consistency for like 3 rounds but that's about it. Cotto was never wobbled or in trouble or knocked down or anything like that. Miguel boxed Ndou's ears off for most of that fight. Also, Cotto was not at that point the fighter he would later become.
