A lot of people on this forum seem to think Cintron dived out of the ring.
    I don't think he did.

But to those who think he did, could you think of a possible motive as to why he would?

He couldn't have planned it, so do you think in those split seconds, he just decided to go for it? Why would he?

I don't believe he did. There are easier ways to throw a fight than chucking yourself head first out of the ring.

    Judah/Clottey
    Campbell/Bradley
    Litzau/Juarez

The same reason these 3 guys did, they wanted a way out and/or thought they were ahead on the scorecards.

This. Anyone with any knowledge of Cintron's career and history would have thought that there was a good chance that Kermit was going to find some way out of this fight once he felt PW could take it and give it back two-fold. I predicted that Cintron would find some way to quit in the 9th. I was way off. Kermit's ex-trainer used to post on ESB years ago and he mentioned that there were a few incidents in training when Kermit quit half through a training/sparring session, and that he had never seen another fighter do this.

Only ignorant people think a boxer could do that in the heat of the action.

Of course he didn't dive headfirst on purpose.. But did he overreact and lay there motionless for about 5 minutes cause he had to or was he soul searching. I'm not 100% sure either way but I'd guess he was looking for a way out and bam he stumbled upon it. Anyone who has ever seen this grown man cry in the ring would question this guys heart..

There was no way a doctor could let him continue when he laid on the ground lifeless for 5 minutes... Actions speak louder than words..

This behavior is no surprise w/ his punto reputaion. He obviouslly jumped out the ring. He got caught w/ a couple decent blows and he wanted out, he knew his best rounds were behind him. He could sense a slow death at the hand of a volume puncher like PW was coming, and he wanted to escape the punishment. He was prolly looking for the chance to fake a low blow or a hit to the back of the head but there was no oppurtunity. So he saw flying outta the ring head 1st the next logical choice. It was apparent gravity took it's course and he could of just fell in the ring. You can't tell me a pro boxer couldn't just bouce off the ropes or fall in the ring, he is an amazing fraud. I kinda feel bad for the posters he fooled into believing him. It's not your fault, common sense would say it was accidental, but kermit the frog rarely uses common sense.

If he wanted to continue, why did he lay still like he'd been shot for 5 minutes?

He was looking for a way out, and if you seen some of his past 'performances' (turning away from Margo in tears in the first fight, getting knocked out and crying until the decision got reversed against Martinez) you should know this.

He is a mouse, not a man

There is NO reason or motive. Period.

The guy fell out of the ring, took and awful fall and was hurt. He was then instructed to STAY STILL and NOT MOVE. You can CLEARLY hear these instructions from ringside doctors and media. You can also hear him clearly stating that was WANTED TO FIGHT.

These haters and attention whores that are writing all of this assinine drivel regarding Cintron are nothing more and nothing less than mindless idiots that should be ignored.

Cintron was winning the fight, despite the ridiculous cards.

Very interesting. Haven't seen much of Cintron, but everyone seems in agreement that he has no heart. Quite sad really.

Because he was told to do so by ringside doctors, you moron.

My God, people are stupid on this forum. :-(
