Circling??

    if you are circling to your left you move your left foot one step and right foot a half step, if you are circiling to your right move your fight foot one step and your left foot a half step.
    in other words if you step to the left start with your left foot first if you move to the right start with your right foot first.
    This is so you dont cross your legs in there if you get caught crossing your legs you have no balance and can be knocked down with the lightest of shots, ie Toney being dropped by a jab from Peter.
    balance is key, it allows you to move in and out safely and get your punches off with some sort of steam on them. with out balance you cant box.

    another good one was if you watched the hatton castillo fight castillo got knocked down in rd 1(i think or mayby 2) becasue he was off balance

    If you step to the right with your left foot first, you gonna cross your feet. At that instant, you're VERY vulnerable because:

    1) if you get hit, you're balance is not strong and you can get pushed over
    2) you're not in any position to throw anything if an opening comes up

    It's an inefficient way of moving to your right.
