Perkins being very harsh on herself for not getting the KO - even though she went the distance (granted, half the scheduled distance last time) with the same opponent before...and she did everything you could ask with a tough and determined but unskilled brawler and that is win every minute of every round against them. It wasn't like she wasn't trying for the KO, either, at least in the second half. Classy, humble (and hungry - she wants to be undisputed, although that isn't quite as impressive a feat in the women's HW division as noted above) individual.

It effectively makes Perkins the queen bee in that org, since the women's green belt hasn't been contested sice Alejandra Jiménez Ayala vs. Vanessa Lepage Joanisse in 2017. (Jiménez moved down to light heavy the following year and is now campaigning at super middle, where she just defeated Franchón Crews-Dezurn for the WBC title at 168lbs, but had it overturned and made a NC when she was popped for stonazalol)
