I've enjoyed man vs woman fights before where its a trained woman vs an untrained man. It gives one an appreciation for what building up skills and condictioning can do as opposed to drinking beer all day. But a trained man vs trained woman loses that distinction and it will basically just be a domestic violence episode.

 

I watched the whole 1 min clip of her sparing males and she's going all out but they are paid not to, clear to see.

I don't think she lands anything on Thurman, and this would be a 4-6 round exhibition fight at best where he doesn't throw with full power. Like that Haye fight where he recently won by only throwing weak jabs.

Yeah it would not be seen in the same light. We live in a double-standard society.

As a transgender woman myself I also raise my hand in the belief that the non-sense of men and women against each other needs to stop. And if an athlete is transgender and wants to have a sex change and live as a female the rest of her life, fine. But do not use a sex change to female as a money-making machine. Do the decent thing and remain out of sports for the rest of your life or until a transgender division is created.

This entire men versus women or women versus men thing only serves to divide us further in every social level and aspect of life.

(Sidenote: Ive played basketball against taller women and always suck. Im pretty good at the game, not NBA or WNBA level talent for that matter but I can hold my own at the guard position. But put size against me and it dont matter if it's a man or a "cis" woman on the other side. I always suck horribly when a taller person guards me, lol!)

 

Christie Martin said her trainer/husband hit her full force once and knocked her out cold and this guy was a nobody in his 60s. Martin isn't anywhere near Shields level but women don't have the frame to take hard male punches, even if they have the better skills.

 

Serena Williams once thought she was better than a male and she was whooped by at no 203 ranked part time tennis pro. She was well before her prime, but still. She kinda had the same approach.
