Claressa Shields has held multiple world championships in three weight classes, including the undisputed female light middleweight title since March 2021; the undisputed female middleweight title from 2019 to 2020; and the unified WBC and IBF female super middleweight titles from 2017 to 2018. Shields currently holds the record for becoming a two and three-weight world champion in the fewest professional fights. As of November 2020, she is ranked as the world's best active female light middleweight by The Ring and BoxRec, as well as the best active female boxer, pound for pound and ESPN, second by The Ring, and fourth by BoxRec. Cristiane Justino Venâncio (born July 9, 1985), known professionally by her ring name Cris Cyborg (and formerly by her married name Cristiane Santos), is a Brazilian–American mixed martial artist who as of January 2021 competes in Bellator MMA, where she is the current Bellator Women's Featherweight Champion, having held the title since January 2020. She is also a former UFC, Strikeforce and Invicta FC World Featherweight Champion. She is the only MMA fighter in history, male or female, to become a Grand Slam Champion, holding world championships across four major mixed martial arts promotions. Cyborg is widely regarded as one of the greatest female mixed martial artists of all time. Cyborg first rose to prominence when she won the Strikeforce title on August 15, 2009, by defeating Gina Carano via first-round technical knock-out (TKO). As of March 29, 2021, she is #1 in the Bellator Women's pound-for-pound Rankings. Both women are known for their striking but Cyborg is a dominant powerhouse. In a battle between Claressa Shields vs Cris Cyborg who would you favor? This content is protected
Cyborg by stoppage, if she mixes in plenty of kicks and grappling she would pound Shields out on the floor. I guarantee Shields has never come across a woman as physically strong as Cyborg. Amanda Nunes recently lost but she would definitely use her grappling to stop Shields too just like when she used it against Randamie whose a very good stand up fighter who I wish fought Cyborg.
