If she were to find a dude simultaneously little and unskilled enough in the pros to beat up, what would it prove? She's just trying to get attention.

Honestly, I believe she would beat Szpilka if she bulks up a bit.

Szpilka fights at Cruiserweight currently and has the worst jaw in boxing history. He fights without defense most of the time.

An agressive fighter like Shields could knock him out early if he tries to exchange. And she would be hungry in a fight like that, against a bigger man while he would underestimate her.

They need to learn punch mechanics, your not going to find a woman that can suddenly punch like Hearns.

Plus Loma is far more skilled than Haye was and would throw and land more punched on Shields than Haye did v Valuev where there was a bigger reach difference.

He's got a crappy chin against hard hitting heavyweights and cruiserweights. She's got terrible punching power for female middleweights. She wouldn't put a dent in him and she's already been knocked down in her career so I see a brutal stoppage.

Shields could literally use Antonio’s plaster hand wraps and not stand a chance. She wouldn’t land a punch and the level of skill disparity would be comical. This thread is insulting to any boxing fan.

Plus, Loma doesn’t hit girls. Floyd has more experience in this area.

Okay so Loma is a favorite vs Claressa, the posters are correct Loma speed is just way too much of an advantage.

Will do more research & find a world ranked contender/former champion that get to the 50/50 point, we don't want to go to far into the lower divisions or size. The boxer should be 5'05" not shorter or taller, world ranked...You can bring in retired contenders/champions

Please to be gender-neutral in your approach and think of Claressa as a less-skilled Floyd Mayweather (130) frame

She would get sparked by any top 100 male pro fighter in the lowest weight class

Actually no, boxers under 5'02" regardless of weight are at big disadvantage vs Claressa Sheilds, boxers from 5'02" to 5'05" are in the grey zone. 5'05" is fair enough (Pacman, Inoue, Loma) but those are ATG material, so if you look at the next tier (inside the Top 100) you will find a 50/50 matchup

This is ******ed, Loma stops her inside 1 round.

this is Lucia Rikjer, too kick-boxer who demolished all her female opponents, much more dominant than Shields.

Are you aware that she fought some man who wouldn’t even be top 100 in his division? Someone utterly shite. And got knocked out.

Or how about when the greatest tennis player of all time got swept clean by a rank 203 male? Someone who wasn’t even ranked in the top 200.

    Bit of a silly proposition

Firstly, the disparity in skill and experience (due to competition pool) in male/female boxing is so huge that all of the top female champions would get beaten by any male boxer ranked in the top 200 in the relevant weight division. It's probably harder to win the NY Golden Gloves, or to pick up a British Area title, as a man than it is to be a professional world champion as a woman.

Secondly, a 160lbs woman is not physically equivalent to a 160lbs man, or even a 140lbs man if we're talking about athletes. The difference in physical strength, speed, punching power etc. is ginormous. Just look at any other sport (e.g. Olympic weightlifting or track events) for examples. Even with Loma being about 30lbs lighter than her I'd wager he probably still hits harder than anybody she's ever fought, and that's without even bringing skill, speed, timing etc into it.

    She'd get ****ed up.
