Frazer Clarke has shared the ring with almost all of Great Britain’s talented heavyweights and says David Price had the most power. He rates Price's power way ahead of Joshua's and Dubois, who he was asked specifically about.

Definitely. His right hand was like a sledge hammer.

For what his opinions worth, David Haye said similar about Price hitting him harder in sparring than Wilder

Like Audley he should have stayed amateur. Had an awful pro career and was hurt far too many times.

After being exposed by Tiger Thompson he could have always gone down the can crusher route with sold out shows to 10'000 scousers.

Thompson ruined his career took it early on and was a huge risk. First fight was a disaster and the second one Thompson got up off the floor at least once to knock him out which scarred big pricey for ever.

Such a shame because after this allegedly fury v price was lined up but price lost and fury got up to flatten Cunningham.

Don’t think there’s ever been any doubt that he was a hard puncher. Just never really had a chin, and his heart wasn’t in it after that first Thompson defeat.

Even now, 12 years or so on, I’d have loved to have seen a pre-Thompson Price in against a rough and raw Fury back then.

Fury wanted nothing to do with Price. Didn't he give up the British title to avoid him?

Agree it was stupid to take the rematch. He didn’t actually drop Thompson, but he managed to get a standing count against him. At the end it was sad sight when Marcus McDonnell waved it off. Even the ref couldn’t believe how exhausted and out of sorts he was. I don’t think Pricey could ever really control his breathing during a fight which was one reason why he usually gassed early.

He put him on his arse heavily he was sat leaned back on the ropes got up at 9 and I’ve heard journalists say it was a slow count. 15 seconds left in the round, any longer it’s another Price stoppage win.

Price inadvertently turned Maloney into a tranny. Devastating night all round.

If Thompson stays down I’m convinced Price has a far better career. It was that nervous energy. He was sharp, quick, on his toes lovely snappy jab in his early days. Never saw him throw a good jab in all the fights that followed probably. Sapped of confidence which sapped his energy. Massive shame.

Boxed really well against Povetkin though. Foster giving him a standing count. That hardly ever happens, 9 times out of 10 the ref just allows the other fella to come forward and bomb him. Again 10 seconds left in the round, longer and you’d fancy Price to snooze him. Foster really is a shocking ref, looked after Povetkin then literally allows a knocked out on feet Price to be potentially killed.

Yes I got that wrong, my bad, cheers for correcting me. Just rewatched and he was exhausted at the end of the 3rd. Looked like he had been drugged, reminded me a bit of Wlad v Brewster 1. Poor bloke, it’s a tough game.
