    Great pictures Dougie of one of the truly great but underated lightweights .
    Lou Ambers. What a great infighter he was.! In 100 bouts in the tough 1930s Ambers,who fought everybody.was stopped twice, in his last 2 fights against
    the grenade punching peak Lew Jenkins...He gave Armstrong hell.
    P.S. I once saw a long retired Ambers playing cards withy my dad and his cronies. My dad called me by phone and told me Ambers was in the game and I should not say a word. I didn't..:good
