Dougie, a great picture of a prime Beau Jack and the 31 year past peak
Henry Armstrong in 1943...Beau Jack, my favorite "action "fighter won this bout. Doug, what a matchup between these two, both in their primes !!!

Rocky, this picture above of my favorite,
[and the fans too] of young Beau Jack fight, in the FIRST main event bout
against Tough Terry Young, a stablemate of Rocky Graziano, that my dad took
me to at St. Nicholas Arena in the early 1940s....Ah, memories Rocky :good
P.S. Beau Jack as a youngster started out in battle royals in Savanah, Georgia

Believe me Rocky. This young Beau Jack would have whipped Floyd Mayweather ,both in their primes. No question in my opinion..

Cus D'Amato poses with Floyd Patterson, Mike Tyson and Jose Torres. All three boxers were trained by D'Amato.

How would Ewart have done had he somehow got a shot at Marciano?? 5'10 1/4" versus 7'2" !!!
I for one would've loved to have seen it!!
