Orlando Sports Stadium hosted for a time weekly cards.

Pete Ashlock, a rich Texan, built it in 1967 and created a stable that included Maurice “Termite” Watkins, Edgar “Mad Dog” Ross, Scotty Clark and others. They built impressive records fighting locally and got into the rankings and even captured NABF-level titles and got a couple of title shots.

It was eventually old to wrestling promoter Eddie Graham, who put on shows there, and also hosted the likes of Led Zeppelin and Elvis concerts.

It was shuttered in 1993, demolished two years later and is now the site of a housing development.
