Overall Yes. Overall long arms are easier to use as an advantage. It is certainly the case among Superheavyweight sized champions whereby speed has largely been replaced with size.

The kind of fighter who can overcome longer arms hasn’t been so successful among the belt holders since the days of Holyfeild and Tyson.

It seems like for a while now, for HW championship fights, “bet on the guy with the longer arms” would be the most profitable advice.

It was not always the case.

Well I am sad to see him banned. Rez posted a lot of great films. His contributions were better than the majority of us here. So I really hope he comes back for the sake of all us. I hope it’s a short break.

I disagree with a lot of popular stuff, but I’m not personal about it.

The level of moderation on this forum is dramatically below what is seen next door, and dramatically lower than what occurs at some other places.

If someone runs afoul of a ban, it's almost always because they deserve it and the evidence for this one is there for everyone to see.

Whether he comes back will be entirely up to him.

Whether he is then allowed to stay, will also be entirely up to him.

Oh wow, Rez flipped out again?

I remember getting into a pretty heated argument with him over PM's a few months ago about Rocky Marciano fanaticism and he ended up calling me a little **** ant nobody with a pathetic youtube account that would never take off... :risas3: He kept trying to diminish or devalue me and just seemed way too worked up considering it's just internet nonsense.

Aye, it's a shame, because normally his conduct is perfect, but he's one of these guys that, when he loses it, he really loses it.

Very possibly he'll be OK if he comes back.

Yeah, I think he's just a lot younger than probably three quarters of the board, and probably even younger than myself (I'll be 30 in a few weeks)

I know when I first came here 10 something years ago I was more prone to argue and butt heads... Ah well. Life goes on.

Well I expect moderation to be lower here because this forum is where all the knowledgable folks are. Idiots coming in here get found out on their knowledge pretty quick. there are far easier forums for troublemakers to make a nuisance of themselves than this forum where most of us are experts. So yes. Elsewhere there should be more bootings. Rez was one of the experts here. I hope he comes back.

Agreed, Rez is a benefit to the board when he's here.

Nah you're just a petty dumb ass tyrant.
    Is dumb ass two words?

Rez is a good kid but thin skinned with a very short fuse.I expect him back when his ban is up.I hope so .

He is no expert and his interpretation of fights is sometimes suspect,he is however an asset to the forum and a decent lad.He does his best to contribute , provides good links and his enthusiasm is infectious.Sometimes he stresses out a bit but he's a good kid who just needs to calm down a bit.

Crazy how easily some people can lose control on a forum, and i know all about that unfortunately since my posts have and are still causing guys to have nervous meltdowns. .

You were backed into a corner, no real harm done, hopefully he will be back as soon as.

I like that Rez is brave enough to challenge opinions and bring original angles to stuff. We need a lot more of that around here. There’s a lot of cliches that deserve questioning.

By the way somebody has been amusing themselves with my status. I can’t seem to edit it. I wonder what little staff member has done that? It used to say “boxing junky” now it just says “wank”. Pretty hilarious stuff eh?

Do you like when "modernist" fans are brave enough to challenge opinions and bring original angles to the conventional views of various old school ATGs?

If someone changed your status to "wank," I think that's pretty messed up and an abuse of power, and I hope they change it back.
