GGG was never floored as an amatuer or pro. Lots of fights. He has a much better chin than Frazier in a pound for pound sense. Not even debatable.

I think GGG takes this by TKO round 9. Interesting 3-4 rounds, then a steady beatdown from body shots.

I don't think Cotto will ever fight GGG...for obvious reasons. Canelo might fight him in a 1 1/2 - 2 year time span...maybe.

I'd like to see GGG get that break through fight...and he will probably have to move up to get it.

Good fight.Murray took a beating, but he fought his heart out.

Golovkin won by a mile, but i didn't like how he seemed to get frustrated in the last few rounds at Murray being able to hang in there, defence started fragmenting and he started to throw some hideous telegraphed hooks trying to solve Murray's basic high guard.Great punch variety, but not enough counterpunching for my liking. It was a very "i'll throw three or four punches at you, then i'll let you throw some back at me" kind of fight. Not much countering of Murray's featherfisted combinations despite him being quite open at all.

Murray just doesn't have any real consistent offensive tools though. With a good right hand and left-hook this could have been a much harder fight for Golovkin.

I have been accused of being in the "tank" of old time fighters, but to be
impartial, in GGG we might well have one of the greatest MWs of alltime.
He brings "seek and destroy" to a new level, cutting off the ring and
hurting his opponent wherever he hits him...Relentless in his attack, and relaxed at the same time, allowing him to carry his strength and power to the very end if need be. And all this and having a chin that in over 300 amateur bouts and 30 pro fights GGG has never been on the canvas. Last night in Martin Murray GGG beat a tough brave MW who in style and sheer toughness reminded me of the heavyweight of old Tommy Farr who took the great Joe Louis the full distance in 1937...
