Yeah, Wlad's an old veteran now, and an intelligent man apparently.
Last thing he needs is Mayweather Sr. in his corner.

Wlad's condition was phenomenal for 39. It was an impressive performance against a hungry challenger with a stout chin who was also in great condition. Wlad has slipped some his offensive reflexes were a bit off but he is still top dog for awhile longer.
He now holds victories over Ring magazines current #1,4,5,9,10 challengers in their rankings. All except one of them coming after age of 35.
    Respect.

I also thought 241lbs was too light for Wlad. It worked well for his mobility in this fight however I think an additional 5lbs would be to his benefit in his next fight.

When Wlad was forced to stop clinching it did really expose the fact that he is clueless on how to throw punches on the inside.
I think that's a fair criticism, even if it's one the haters always latch on to.

Announced that Fury is next. Add Wilder and he completely cleaned house in his late 30s

Jennings is defeated, but he definitely has a future.

We might be looking at a future champion there.

The thing is, there's no point replying to dinovelvet because once Wlad beats Fury he'll dismiss the victory as meaningless.

I for one will be rooting for Fury and hope he pulls it off but I don't see him having much chance. Switch hitting fringe contenders looks good but not sure it helps him against Wlad.

You must have me confused with somebody else. There's no shame losing to Wlad when he fights clean or when he's made made fight clean like he was last night.

really that observation is a surprise I will see if i can bring myself to sit through the fight again for a third time . i saw a wlad that was not as impressive as his previous contest's but was still good enough to easily dominate a fighter that in other era's would be considered lucky to get a title fight. if you feel he could be a future champ i can only assume that is because of the many titles available and the lack of depth of the division

    Fee-fi-fo-fum
    Wlad smells the blood
    Of an Englishman
Be he live or be he stiff
    Wlad will grind his bones
    And make Fury next

When Wlad retires, the division is wide open, and Jennings could be in the mix.

Jennings showed he has a great chin, has fire and is always in condition. Add to that some athleticism and ring smarts and there is no reason he can't be competitive with anyone in the division.
