You forget people have been on this site long enough to remember how you hyped up Pulev and said Wlad was ducking him. Then once Wlad ****ted him you dismissed the victory.

I hope Fury wins, but should he lose you'll no doubt discredit the victory.

    No , I won't do that.

Fury won't fight stupid and throw the fight away like Pulev did.

Mayweather Sr. Sucks, he is all talk his brother is a better trainer...Tommy Brooks is OK....Don Turner is good but a finishing guy just to make little adjustments and tactic observations, no style change

Yes he will be a player but Vlads latest sparring partner 13 fight Joseph Parker looks good right now for me as a guy to watch soon

Good Lord, I am ready for the post-Wlad era. He looked old as hell last night. Vitali's last couple fights were abysmal as he waited too long to pull the trigger and arm punched his way to decisions. I don't need a repeat.

Yep the division will be wide open and there are many belts to fight for so he could snatch one . at 30 he could and should still have a little time to improve , myself though I can't see him beating fury , wilder or Povetkin . Povetkin and fury I am presuming are the ones most likely to fight selected opponents for wlad's vacated titles if he does indeed retire in the next 12 months which I don't think he will not until he has fought fury and wilder anyway . I'd like to see haye vs Jennings

Povetkin will be 36 this year, I doubt he'd be top-5 HW for long time.

He'd be at least 37 in his next title fight, given his style I believe Fury, Jennings, Joshua, Wilder etc. have a good chance beat him.

Disagree - he's got 20+ title defenses, is 39 years old and has beaten more than half of the current top10 to boot. He can retire in good health, wealth and legacy.

After Wilder & Fury there will be always be a next Clubber Lang..

Didn't fancy a rematch with mandatories coming up. Gave Jennings credit, expressed appreciation for MSG & NY. Didn't hint at retirement though, doesn't seem to be on his mind.

Quarry, Shavers and Bonavena would be undisputed anywhere post-Lewis yo. :|

I meant to say Jeff Mayweather. He did some fine worth with Ibragimov and works well with fighters who like to move around.

Brooks to me is an offensive guy. He trained Wlad briefly vs Mercer, and could ignite his offense. Brooks worked with Holyfield, Tyson, M Taylor, McCallum, and a few more.

I just don't see Banks as the best man to train Wlad.

    Seamus,

You'll have to wait until 2017 or beyond. Boxing is about match ups.

    Who's going to beat him?!

Wlad faced a hungry / tough guy from Philly who had guts, good athleticism, good length, good defense, and fought smart. Jennings won 2-3 rounds. That's it. This type of fighter can make a hall of fame bound fighter have an off type of night.

Fury is meat. He has no defense, and an average type of chin.

Glazkov is on the small side, and lacks some of the stuff that Jennings had.

Those two are the next likely fights or Wlad in 2015-2016.

Mix in one to two keep busy type of fights, and we are in 2016-2017.

By 2017 maybe team Wilder will take a big payday before he's chin lets him down. Wlad will be 40-41 by then.

I have been watching boxing for 30+ years. The legs / stamina usually go first. Wlad still is young here. Maybe his reflexes dropped by a small margin. At worst Wlad is still 80%-85% from his peak, and that's still too much for anyone.

I can't wait until you throw Fury under the bus, after Wlad beats the tar out of him like he did Pulev.

    It's going to be glorious.
