It's incredible the change in skill level over the years. Tonight's joke of a fight underlines how low the hwt division has sunk. No sense at all of basic boxing skills. Holly Holm, a female fighter in MMA, exhibited more skills in her championship winning bout than either hwt exhibited at any time in their career.

 

Fury would have outboxed any version of Wlad.

 

More like Wlad became a spent fire over night. Wlad's confidence, speed, technique and hunger were gone. Perhaps he was Ko'd in the gym during training?

If he was in there vs a better fighter he would have been knocked out.

Fury won ugly and fouled a few times, but he won. I did not see anyone picking Fury on points.

 

Well let's sit back and see if some 6'1" 210lbs slickster comes along and schools fury

 

Maybe Wlad was afraid of letting his hands ago because he knew what he'd get in return?

A fighter becomes hesitant when he becomes afraid of his opponent returning fire.

I actually picked Fury to win. Had Fury put his foot down, he could have got Wladmir out of there.

I picked Fury to Vitali during Vitalis last couple of years but people laughed.

 

With all due respect Fury did struggle alot with 6'3 Steve Cunningham who weighed 210 on fight night.

Cunningham did knock him down as well.

 

Wlad was so desperate , he tried to butt Fury and ending up cutting his own face.

Wlad still would have still wrect Pulev tonight and all the Leapais and Pianetas of the world. And would have again hugged Povetkin to victory.

He couldn't overcome Furys movement or bully him in close , not tonight , not ever.

 

I know I was talking shlt hoping Ali, Louis and rocky fans would have a stroke..but in all seriousness the days of champions who are that size won't likely come again..

 

Vitali would have beaten Fury easily. Go have something off the top shelf and celebrate. Fury caught a distinguished champion on the Night he became old and lost his will to box. There's your story.

I don't think Fury is the best in the division. Right now that is Povetkin.

I hope Fury doesn't pull a Wilder and fight top 20-40 ranked guys. Fight someone in the top ten next.

 

The bum/featherfisted Cunningham could outsmart Fury but unbeateble superhuman wlad
couldn't this proves the klitschko propaganda collapsed.
Fury doesn't deserve respect at all considering Puritty/Sanders/Brewster could
destroy a better younger version w. klitschko.

 

Like i said w. k. was lucky because he didn't fight Valuev.The Fury fight proved
Valuev was better than this glass-chinned joke "wlad".At least Valuev had chin.
