    Most of those rabbit punches were clearly thrown after Wlad's head was already turned and they were standing chest to chest in the clinch. Blatant fouls. Reminded me of the rabbit punches that Julio Cesar Vasquez threw throughout his fight against Pernell Whitaker. I had no problems with the deduction.

    Didn't mean to suggest that Fury would be utterly incapable against those fighters. But for the record, I was never all that impressed by Del Boy and it seemed that he had visibly deteriorated from his prime by that fight.

    Now that I'm a Fury fan, I hope he deals with all of them,...and honestly, I'm not yet sold on Wilder.

    That fight will be in high demand. But I seriously doubt it'll be his first defense. Fury's next opponent will likely be a Malik Scott or Vyacheslov Glascov type of challenger.

    My feeling is that he won’t have the discipline to keep turning up in the condition that he was in last night, now that he actually holds the title.

    This is likely to make for a short reign, if nothing else.

    RELATIVE TO ERA (because obviously I'm not talking about putting the modern equivalent of a natural light heavy or cruiser - and cuts-prone, with two dozen losses, and not exactly boasting a style to offset a super heavy's advantages in size - in with a 6'9" 250lber h2h) - is Fury a worse heavyweight champ than Braddock, whom many often dump on - unfairly, IMO - as being the worst of all time?

    Look at who Braddock fought before his shot at Baer. Now compare that with all of Fury's opposition before yesterday.

    I think James may finally be free of the pillory. We've a new face at which to hurl our cabbages.
