I believe that. Ruslan Provodnikov came from a part of Russia where people there still eat raw meat.

But if they changed things up, he'd need a weight class of his own, no one to fight, and we never would have witness his sublime slickly-skilled sweetness. :hey

I'd love to see him come back and outmaneuver and school Fury the way that Leonard did to Hagler. It would be like watching a Super version of Leonard.

His best three opponents were Scott, Cunningham and Adamek. All three were past prime and at least two of them were robbed.

White people are descended from viruses.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad mentioned that.
Michael Parkinson read the book but was too stupid to understand it.

Tyson Fury, the most charismatic boxer since Muhammad Ali, is actually descended from HIV, hence why he tweeted "gay people should be killed" (or was that his little cousin).
Either way, David Price turned out to be sh!t, so he got that right.

No, Scientists say Asian and Europeans have 2-3% Neanderthal DNA.

Humans, in general, have had their DNA altered by viruses. All races. A virus main goal is to inject DNA into a cell

It is shown through old skeletal remains that our DNA itself has changed about 7% over the past 5,000 years. That is a lot. People today in general are taller, and have more brain compacity.

Though genetic engineering ( not science fiction ) the future could really change things, but that is a separate non-boxing type of debate with major ethical concerns.

The human genome has already been mapped. Once the combinations are understood. A's, C's, T's, and G's ( DNA combinations ) can be changed around for a different replication of cells. Essentially scientists can take out all DNA in a cell, and inject new DNA. Even synthetic. In addition, they can add mutant cells to DNA, such as adding the DNA piece for spiders to make silk into a goat, which passes out milk and silk. Beyond wild...

    Hagler won that, man. :|

Valuev would do to Fury what Whitaker did to Chavez, and he'd make sure they gave Fury the DRAW verdict too, being Valuev is magnanimous.

Yeah, when you have to have it as a title prefix there's got to be something very wrong.

All members of the UK parliament address each other as "the honourable" and "the right honourable". I rest my case. :smoke

Agreed. SNV dancing circles around Fury would make Ali look like a dump truck spinning its wheels in the mud. No fighter was ever faster, smarter, more skilled, more athletic or above all things more physically attractive than the great Sugar Nikolay Valuev.... The man's so awesome, even the hair on his back is great.

And this proves me right surely?

How could a man as short and as light as Tyson was for his first 28 fights only be the lighter man 7 times today!!!

Because the fighting style of the jumbo heavyweights has changed the division irreparably Where would a young Tyson fit today at that size? Sure his talent should prevail to some extent but he could adapt unrecognizably into a less capable talent. Treading water. undersized, while learning on the job in ugly sloppy fights.

Where should he go then, Cruiserweight? No. If it was called Heavyweight then yes. Because that has marquee value. Everybody knows what it is. In Ametuer boxing we have "heavyweight" and "superheavyweight". Everybody knows what it means. Aside from us aficionados for 40 years people still don't know what a cruiser is!
