Anyone have any links with these? Has Ali ever spoken on Mayweather or Pac? I noticed Ali at Mayweather vs. Mosley...
Chuvalo said that Frazier would go through the Klitschkos like some sort of sauce. I tryed to post the video but did not work for some reason. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrye5xSdIbY&feature=player_detailpage[/ame]
Foster would have knocked his out imo. Roy Jones was an amazing boxer but I allways hated his posture and tightness espesialy his neck it reminded me of the neck of some sort of bird. A great like Foster would have seen much more weakness then myself.
Ali is not in condition to hold a conversation. However Holmes is, and he comments often. If you want to talk to Holmes, he has his own boxing message board. I have not heard much from Hagler, Leonard, Duran, on the current champions. Most of the top guys from the 60's are in bad shape, or dead.
Ali doesn't think much of any bob n' weaving destroyer in the division.... You should hear about what he thinks of Dempsey... and we all know what he though of... that other guy with a good left hook
I remember Tyson and SRL going on a talk show with Ali, and Ali said in reference to Tyson "This man is great. Don't believe otherwise, this man is great." And when they were talking about a fantasy match-up, said "If this man hit me, I don't know what would happen!" And when asked about whether or not he hit harder than Shavers or Foreman, which Tyson denied, Ali repeated the famous answer "Is the Pope a catholic?" His daughter either said herself or quoted Ali saying Mayweather was technically better than him. This is an interesting topic, I look forward to seeing more responses.
Foreman also said after the Tyson fight, of all things, that there was then no doubt that Lennox was the greatest heavyweight of all time. Then the Friday before BHOP/Pascal II, he was bigging up how you can't count out Hopkins who has a "big punch" and can win by knockout any time with one punch or something like that. atsch George. He didn't know BHOP had gone ten straight fights and six straight years without a knockout, apparently.
Larry Holmes in his Autobiography "Against the Odds" say's Joe Frazier would Bomb-Out Lewis & Tyson within 2rds
Oh thats what he said, I have allways wondered what he meant when he said that. I thought he meant sause because sause does not provide much resistance. But now I know "like a dose of salts" is a saying maybe an old one because I have not heard it used very much or at all. Thanks for the information.
Everyones seen that vid, he was obviously speaking when young Mike still looked invincible, I guarantee you opinions change after time
