Even common sense offers the correct answer to original question. But no, it's not hard to find answer with at least some skills in theory of knowledge and logic.

How many times are you going to say this? Calzaghe has spent his life ditching jabs, he tends not to jab with opponents, that is specifically what he does. It is just that he has never ever done it v a world class opponent.

I am not hoping for an ephemeral plan I have explained to you exactly the plan I expect to see - I may be wrong of course, I am not a trainer.

I consider Calzaghe the better fighter. I think he will win.

If he has spent his life doing that it shouldn't be hard to come up with most evident examples where he has done this, so we can evaluate how effective his timing is at this?
Hoping that experience will offer him some new way of neutralizing an excellent jab, whereas he didn't possess such skills before, or because he's a "better fighter" is depending on ephemeral arguments.

17 so-called "experts" and not a single one has come up with a plan backed up by evidence of how Calzaghe's gonna neutralize a jab and what's he gonna do if he is unable to do that. Only ephemeral hopes on speed, experience, audience, home decision. Blah.

You could come up with the best prediction in the world of how the fight would unfold and still get the outcome wrong.

Perhaps the best prediction I ever made was Ramhan Maskaev II. It unfolded exactly as I anticipated right up untill Ramhan was counted out.

If I could suggest a flaw in your fight plan it is that any jab can be overcome by a multi dimensional fighter.

It can be overcome, of course. The question is can it be in this particular case? I haven't heard any such version that seemed logical so far, they all put hope on speed, unorthodoxness, angles, but when I asked for evidence that Calzaghe possesses such skills, I got no reply.
When I'm predicting not just the result, but try to describe how I see the fight goes, I usually make better predictions than when I just say "boxer A wins". I rarely do this, though. I described Jones Jr vs Ajamu exactly the way it was. I remember I predicted and described how Cory Spinks wins vs Zab Judah the first time, when everybody else bet on Judah, and I predicted that the 2nd fight would be no different, and it was, but just like with you, only until Spinks got a bit careless and was stopped.
I predicted that Wright's jab won't work vs. Hopkins and B-Hop will win. Hopkins vs Tarver I didn't think it would be so dominant, I expected a 116-112 for Hop. Hop vs DLH I argued with one other user that Hop wins, whereas he bet on DLH, with one wish being the prize. I won and chose my wish to be that that person writes an article about DLH's career.

Senya, you'll be eating some humble pie if Joe wins. If Joe shows the foot movement he showed against Lacy 'to get in and out' and get his shots off then he will win.

Lets look at who has the better arsenal...

    Speed JC
    Power MK
    Punch output JC
    Jab MK
    Defence draw
    foot movement JC (IMO)
    Head movement JC
    Technical ability MK
    Stamina draw

    Anything else...

Make Kessler miss/compromise with speed and timing. Once Kessler has missed, punch him. This is as simple as I can make it, I direct you to Calzaghe's fights with Sheika for an example - but that fact that you are asking tells me plenty about your attitude here. Almost any Calzaghe fight serves.

My point is that Kessler is better than all of these guys and the evidence is of limited value. But if it makes you happy, there it is.

This is the same thing i've been saying all night. Don't really see your problem with it, or why it is ephemeral.

Pardon me? You are directing me to that fight to see what? I just re-watched it again, and I counted Sheika throw something that looks like on-target jabs (with no weight behind them, pushing punches, all missing badly):
    1 in 2nd round
    1 in 3rd round
2 in first minute of 4th round
    1 in 5th
any other occasions Sheika was throwing a "jab" it was pawing with extremely slow range-finders that stopped a foot or two away from Calzaghe. And Sheika has no steping back or side-stepping skills for countering. There's nothing in that fight to analyze for this coming match with Kessler.

Re-watching some other fights too. Reid's not using jab either to evaluate Calzaghe's timing against them, but Calzaghe had problems timing Reid's right hooks from a distance (5th round, for example).

It seems that you've managed to track down Calzaghe dipping out of some bad jabs. That's basically what I've seen too. Can he do it against the superior Kessler? Be interesting to see. I think so.

He didn't dip put of anything, that's the problem. He didn't move his upper body, didn't move his head, to avoid getting hit by those occasional 5 jabs total in 5 rounds, they were just executed so inaccurately and slowly, that they missed badly.
I have 33 Calzaghe fights, so I'm open for suggestions where to look at for examples of his good work against a jab. Anyone?

You seem really convinced off your point Senya, as usual. What opponent has Kessler faced that was in the class of Calzaghe?

That is not to say Kessler can't win, but this fight is about as even as it gets. You are extremely confident about your pick. We will see. How one-sided do you think it will be? Kessler by KO? How many rounds does Kessler win if it goes to the scorecards?
