Roy is a pretty terrible rapper, as catchy as some of the hooks to his songs are. I prefer "And Still" to that one though. [YT]kPT6E_ouBnM[/YT]
The judges' scores: 116-112, 116-112, 115-113, all by unanimous decision...and STILL...undefeated, with a perfect record of 46 and 0...from Newbridge, Wales....Jooooooe Cal-Zaghhhhheeeee!!!! arty
I think the Tito fight has changed peoples opinion of him. He looked good that night, but you have to put that victory into perspective. He was against a guy who is more shot than he is. His performance against Hanshaw was very poor. I don't think Jones has a realistic chance. I would love to see it happen, but I know it won't.
I saw that you rated it above Liquid Swords, which is really hard to fathom. I've yet to hear it though actually.
You won't like it more. It's a more adult record if you know what I mean, guys in my age bracket are going to appreciate it a bit more generally. But I think you would really, really like it. You should get it, definitely, as much as you like Liquid Swords? It's definitely his best since that one. I loved the new Ghostface, too, Big Doe Rehab. There is a track on there, Yolonda's House, that actually made me laugh out loud first time I heard it.
I like this analysis. The one thing I'll add is that I think Jones being a more flatfooted fighter these days also means that he's throwing more power shots. But the speed and fluidity is just not the same for Roy. I'd not be shocked to see him score a flash knockdown, but I'll take Calzaghe by UD.
Calzaghe by late stoppage. Jones just doesn't have the workrate anymore. But my oh my am I pulling for him. I really want to see him lay Calzaghe out.
