David Haye is in no position offer anyone fights except at Cruiserweight. Hell it took him like 3 months to handpick an opponent. You seriously believe the crap you post? :rofl

Hey I get fights wrong, same as every other **** on here - at least I admit to it :D I'm not even a massive Toney fan but seeing pricks calling him a coward after what, 80 fights? :patsch Words fail me.

Fair enough, I just didnt like how that poster earlier questioned Toney's achievements, thats like someone saying Picaso's paintings weren't abstract enough. Toney is a great fighter, who shocked most, including myself, by standing in there with a huge puncher in Peter, and not getting knocked out in 24 rounds, very impressive, especially coming from a guy that started out fighting at Middle.

Coming from the man that calls Jones "glass jaw" every chance he gets I'll take that as a compliment. Some of us actually follow the sport you know, not just cling to certain fighters nuts :good

As I said, I expected Toney to get KO'd in pretty much every heavyweight contest he ever took on, but especially against Holyfield and Peter. The mad **** just kept on surprising me and I was never a big fan of him before then although I always respected his skills. Now I've got MASSIVE respect for his defensive genius, a true old school fighter and one of the best fighters ever - but behind Jones, obviously.

Roy Jones has been starched twice. :smoke

David Haye has 1 win at Heavyweight and could not even handpick an opponent correctly I will give Jones credit he can do that quite well.

Yet Haye has "offered" Wlad a fight? What exactly is Haye bringing to the table at Heavyweight? His #5 WBO ranking?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yeah, keep telling yourself that skippy.

Agreed, not a huge fan of Toney's, but I guess I like him in a way and I definitely respect him as a fighter. I feel Toney is the type of character that puts asses in the seats, as well as always standing in there taking whatever punch that comes at him, he's one of the few boxing legends still fighting today, him, Jones, and Hopkins are the last of a dying breed.

I pray Jones takes out Calzaghe, how great would that be for boxing?

WALDO has been starched 3 times, by average fighters, and he was in his prime when it happened unlike Jones :smoke

Haye brings more to the table than the likes of Purrity Sanders and Brewster, make no mistake. No wonder WALD shat his pants rather than take the fight.

:roflYes David Haye can offer fights with well....... Nothing. No trinket belt, no decent ranking etc. and you say I don't know anything about Boxing but you are claiming David Haye is in a position to offer fights to people at Heavyweight?:lol:

As someone said earlier if Wlad can get past his non handpicked Mandatory and Toney can get past Tony Thompson I would have no problem for that being an optional defense. We both know that won't happen. As for Haye, let him win a few fights earn a mandatory and he can get his shot also until then he needs to concentrate on beating his handpicked opponents.

I think there's still a few legends in the making out there, I'm not so pessimistic but it's a shame that the style that Toney displays seems to be a dying art, for sure. It's up to Toney to train the kids, same as the likes of Archie Moore did.

As for Jones beating Calslappy, not sure how great it'd be for the sport of boxing but it'd improve my holiday by 1000%, I'm going to be in LA for that fight, probably be the only Englishman in the bar hoping Jones knocks the ****s head clean off  :happy
