Thanks Chef...always a KLIT fan with a brain.

    Unlike these
    Foolish KLIT-ites
    :bart

You know Toney isn't scared of your boys, and he just wants his 50-50...at least then he did, now it might be time to accept a little less...like only 5 points though, he is the ATG afterall.

CASH got it right to the point with his post. That's all facts. I don't understand how some people can even continue to argue that Toney isn't great after this...

Some guys here have only seen the Toney-RJJ and Toney-Peter II fights and use that to degrade Toney. They only follow Calzaghe and Hayes careers and probably don't even know half of the fighters that CASH listed in his post. My advice is stop hating and make yourself a favour and watch the fights that CASH listed above, you'll just shut up then.

Oh **** off. I'm sick to death of stupid Toney huggers. Funny how the nuthugger thinks Griffin, Peter 1 & Rahman 2 are "robberies". Yet ignores the Tiberi, McCallum, R Johnson & McGroom controversies.

    Same generic nonsense every time.

I've got no problem with Toney's self-promotion, but there has been far too much sizzle and very little steak recently.

Well, Toney is usually right on point with his predictions but indeed predicted Lacy to win.

Not like that at all! Wlad had the belt and was #1 when he offered Toney a chance. Toney said no. What fighter refuses such an opportunity? Oh yeah, Toney was offered a big pay day too, but fought a bum for less money.

Haye has not belts. In fact who has be beaten at heavyweight?.

Poor comparison, Fighting Weight. I expect better from you.

If you know ANYTHING about boxing, you have to acknowledge that this is a HOF RESUME.

And yes, the Rahman draw and first Peter fights belong in that list.

example for a fight prediction by Toney

JAMES TONEY - former super middleweight world champion

Joe Calzaghe-Jeff Lacy is a mismatch. Lacy is going to destroy that boy. He's too strong, he's a fighter - he's proved himself.

Calzaghe never did anything. He beat Chris Eubank nine years ago, but what has he done since then? He's a joke, that's why he keeps pulling out of fights.

I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled out of this one. Everybody in the UK is over-protected, but Lacy will be OK, because he's a fighter.

When did Wlad offer Toney a shot at the title? I think it was Vitali who made an offer, but it wasn't very lucrative so Toney fought Ruiz for the WBA instead.

    For the record:

Both Griffin fights and especially Peter I were plain robberies, everybody who isn't blind knows that. The first two McCallum fights, McGroom fight and Reggie Johnson were all close fights that Toney won and deserved to win. There's a difference there. They weren't controversial, Toney-Rahman II was controverisal. Anyways, I agree with you that Dave Tiberi should have deserved the win against Toney.

Nope, don't even be willing to concede that point. Toney was listless and weight drained, but if you really score it under a microscope, he still landed enough hard counter rights to negate Tiberi's totally ineffective pitty-pats and win a majority of those rounds.

Alex Wallau, normally a very good commentator, was a disgrace that day in fanning a controversy that really didn't exist if you know how to score a fight.
