What about Valero vs Whitaker.. We all know how highly you rate Valero..

 

I set it at 12 to give him a chance modern rules old school fighters. Agreed but Johnson is an altogether different proposition at the peak of his abilities. He was much harder to hit than Jeffries got to you through grit and determination and punching like a mule.

Johnson was cuter maybe he carried Ketchel maybe he didnt but its quite clear that Ketchel was able to land a legit knockdown of the heavyweight champ. Even if he was subsequently sparked clean out.

Jeffries wouldnt be able to end it when he chooses he would have to grind Ketchel and take some heavy heavy shots. A past it Fitz was able to outbox him so there is a precedent for Middles with a decent crack having a decent chance v Jeffries.

 

Cuevas vs Pacquiao. Good chance of a Cuevas KO imo.

Marciano would swarm all over Hopkins, who would eventually go down for the count.

 

Now Jones would be an outside pick. But as I say, see what you mean, I just think The Rock proved himself against the main facets of Hopkins' game. I'd consider Hopkins the outside bet against Saad, so I could stretch to that.

As for The Rock, only man under 185lbs I'd give a really serious chance to would be Tunney. And even then, I doubt it. Greb sounds like he'd beat The Rock but I have no evidence so can't pick him.
