    Hi Hook here, please classic members rank teh 10 Modern Heavyweight eras what happened 1960-2009. Please use teh 10 named eras i provided or ranking will not work for comparison purposes of people's ranked lists. Have fun! :bbb

    1965-1969 (Ali era)

    1970-1974 (Frazier/Foreman era)

    1975-1979 (Ali/Holmes era)

    1980-1984 (Holmes era)

    1985-1989 (Spinks/Tyson era)

    1990-1994 (Holyfield/Bowe era)

    1995-1999 (Holyfield/Lewis era)

    2000-2004 (Lewis era)

    2005-2009 (Vitali/Wlad era)

    I'll attempt to break it down like you have when I have more time,Hook :good My all time favourite years of the heavyweight division,though,were 1970-76.
    Ali,Frazier,Foreman,Norton and Young were exciting us all,with Larry Holmes just over the horizon.

    5-8 is fairly interchangeable to me.

    M8, Im surpised to see you put 1975-1979 (Ali/Holmes era) above 2000-2004 (Lewis era), is that cos of teh Thrilla In Manilla?

    Before I give a complete breakdown,i'll just say that the 1970-74 era is the best,imo. I count it as the Foreman-Frazier-ALI era though. :good

    I like 90-94 the best. 60-64 I consider the weakest, clearly. I'll have to think on how I want to sort out the guts of the list...
