What is the general consensus here? Me, I do not like Molina's hand placement against this type of opponent and the punches this guy throws. He is pretty much giving openings from the start of the fight & not making this opponent work to create those openings. Some head movement would certainly help a bunch or enough mobility to slide out of the way and roll with punches. I'm thinking pretty much a devastating and early ko Parker--Ruiz. Same result, although it may go a little longer. Classic example of follow the money; Arum just aligned himself with Parker. It's going to be very difficult for Ruiz to be the guy with his hand raised at the end. I'd like to see Parker in there with Wilder. Thoughts?
Joshua has much cleaner, crisper offensive technique than Wilder and fairly comparable power. He should be able to get Molina out of there with less difficulty than Wilder, and early so long as he puts his foot down. I can still see it going into the midway of the fight with Molina continually absorbing punishment throughout until finally getting totally broken though. Not seen enough of Andy Ruiz to say much except that he's seemingly not on the same level as Parker.
I think the Molina fight is a p*ss take and wont pay for it ,Joshua early. Ortiz or Pulev would have been much more credible opponents for Joshua , imo.. Joshua has signed to fight Wlad at Wembley in April so they are taking no risks on spoiling that pay day. Whyte should beat Chisora who is coming to the end. The Parker v Ruiz fight shapes up as an exciting bout and I'm much more interested in that. Parker to win but Ruiz is dangerous , has fast hands ,and comes to fight,I understand he has shipped some of the flab too, which is a positive sign,we don't need another Arreola
Joshua should defeat Molina fairly quickly. It's ridiculous that Ortiz is fighting a fourth-rater in an 8-rounder on the undercard. It should be AJ-Ortiz main event. I understand that Joshua is sincere in his willingness to fight anyone and he's in dire need of a win to call himself a credible champion, and Molina doesn't provide. I like Joseph Parker. I don't know much about Ruiz. I would like to see Parker v Joshua sometime soon but I suspect it won't happen. Parker and Ruiz could be a good fight. I suspect these two are tough and durable warriors ....... but I suspect my suspicion is based on some degree racial stereotyping as well as wishful thinking.
