I'm watching the clay guida and gray maynard fight now. I really hate clays fight style, he jumps around like a clown, puts his hands down and show ponies but he isn't even in striking range. He is doing more jumping around and running then he is throwing punches and kicks. I would really like to see him get knocked out cold one day. Can not stand clay guida, he needs to get a haircut, what a muppet.
Guida's a tin can. The whole cardio machine, long hair, burping like a caveman has really REALLY grown stale. That guy should be in a bush league somewhere. He has no place in the UFC.
i don't really care if he is a cardio machine, i care about seeing strikes land with reasonable technique or a decent style. I don't want to see a long haired muppet jump around like a money swinging his arms. Against maynard he wasn't even swinging his arms he was just jumping around like a muppet. That not a fight style thats a fukken joke. I hate that kunt. Then he jumps around when he is waiting for the decision like a clown to say he has heaps ofcardio left, if that was the case why didn't he throw more strikes and use up that cardio. I really hate watching him fight, i appreciate technique or a characteristic style. Guidas style is a joke.
The guys a bell end. Something I really like about bisping is that he is knackered at the end of every round but keeps coming out and throwing.
I starteda thread about guida right after the fight the other night, I was so mad watching it I was screaming for Maynard to ko out. I'm glad Dana ripped him and his team for that preformance and glad mirgliotta warned him for his running. Grag Jackson was likely the brains behind that idea, I'm glad he lost because that would give guys ideas about this "running style" and everybody try doing it. Jackson seen it work with condit against diaz(although not really running) so he decided to take it up a notch with guida.
Does anybody have the gif where maynard let guida take 3-4 free shots to the face just so they would engage?
Guida has has the fighting intellect of a rock. Dude is super stupid. He's a lot like Kongo in that respect.
Just to add, if it wasn't for the long hair, Maynard would've probably subbed him. I think he has the long hair just for that reason. He should be forced to cut it.
