Dude, at the very beginning, in boxing, there was no rounds limit. They fought for hours and hours until someone was KO'd. As I said, the points are just a "patch" to avoid those situations, because fighting that way was killing the fighters. The points are there as an "out of the box" solution for this problem. The objective is, and has always been, to ko your oponent.

Using GGG v Jacobs fight as an example the flashier looking work was done by Jacobs but on slo mo nearly all his stuff save his work in the last rounds was hitting arms n gloves,judges got it right as GGG scored a knock down and landed the cleaner work.

This hit and not get hit has been misconstrued by the like of Lara who basically just don’t get hit and provide the dullest fights imaginable
