Cleaner ATG ever ?

At least Mike Dyson did vacuum out the HW Division at one point.

Then one of his parts broke - something to do with the hose (hoes) I believe - and maybe the filter went awol too - because he began sucking up crap that wasn’t too healthy for his motor.

 

Ken Norton was very clean - can’t recall any given fouls on his part at all.

Aside form the false claims that he dipped the gloves, I think Liston was also pretty clean - unless anyone can point out otherwise.

Spoon had some good tricks

 

He blew like a tornado. All over the state.

 

I don't remember Ricardo Lopez or Juan Manuk Marquez doing anything dirty. Canelo also keeps it pretty clean.

 

Also Borderline rabbit punches on the inside and at range. Holding his opponent in place with a jab before following up with the right. Pivoting by pushing off his opponent.

 

It's been too long since I've watched full fights of theirs, but SRL and Hagler seemed clean, like they were such a high level of skill it was more advantageous for them to just put 100% of their effort into their technique

Guys like Sugar Shane and ODLH were quite clean from memory. Apart from octopussing when badly hurt Hearns was a very honest campaigner.

Leonard had a habit of hitting after the bell. Duran told Arcel of being thumbed in the eye in their first match.

No instances from Hagler that come to mind.

 

So you judge him from this single incident?
Can you show us this particular scene? The first time i ever heard something bad about Floyd's behavior. What i remember from this fight:
- Floyd was the better man
- Floyd was more explosive
- Floyd was calm the whole fight. Set up his actions to win the rounds without inflicting more uneceasary damage to Ellis' broken Nose.
- Ellis was the dirty Fighter here. About ~50 "sub legal" punches to the back of the head / or at least far behind the ear. + also 5-6 close to the kidney area.
- Floyd showed respect all the time, gave him a dignifieing touch at the end of the rounds before he walked into his corner, like he always used to.
- Floyd got robbed!

Even we can see what you described on the vidoe, it is still up to interpretations and subjective allegations if it was on purpose or if there was any purpose?!

 

You beat me to it. Double A the cleanest most vicious fighter ever. I don't recall many fouls committed by him but he definitely hurt opponents bad. See Ronney fight.
