I am a Pac and PBF fan (not a ******* or floydette) and I must say that Pac is 100% wrong in this whole matter. typically it is big fights that change the face of boxing, look back at SRL vs MMH and Tyson/Holyfield. Both of these negotiations have changed the business of boxing in a very positive ways. I do not think he is juicing either . . . i think roach told manny he would need more time to get ready for floyd and used the blood testing and an easy way out. His fear of needles, blood letting, lawsuit and not knowing what roids are makes him look weak. any true fan of pac would want him to take the random blood testing for the clottey fight to clear all doubt in anyones mind that he is clean. i am so sick of reading such BS about Pac that he walked away because he was insulted (this is not one of the 62 excuses that was originally gave). Or he does need floyd or the Money (stupid, stupid argument because he is willing to ruin his name in the process?) Nor do I think Floyd is really looking at cleaning up the industry . . . even though this will be the end result. If floyd set a precedent of RBT for all his bouts this will soon be the norm and there will be great pressure on all organization to implement these test for all major fights. the cost of RBT is to great to hold for all bouts. People would realize this if it were not for the messenger. PBF is the jose canseco of boxing and is Brilliant at playing the "heal" in 'rassling terms. So I wish all the stupid crap about Floyd using RBT to duck Pac (which is impossible because this was in the original terms of the deal and how could he know that pac would say no). Also, the stupid crap about Pac juicing because there is no real evidence of that (even though is team actions leave a cloud of doubt). In the end Pac will have to agree to RBT because only this and not the courts will clear his name
Listen guys. Mayweather was not trying to get out of a fight with Pac... he is in a damn fight with Mosley. There was millions upon millions to be made, they don't call him Money for nothing. The reason why he is going far with this drug testing now is because he wanted to make sure that Pac was completely clean. His Father was the one telling him that Pac is juicing and other people. So he is going to trust their word over pac's. So he asked for the Olympic style testing. His new interest into random testing, cleaning up the sport and all that is only being done so he does not appear like a hypocrite. Because for him to ask for test from one guy, but not another, makes him one. Not only that though, but it justifies his stance and makes him look like a crusader of the sport and makes Pac look very bad in the long run, for all the excuses he made for not taking, what would've been perhaps, the biggest payday and grossing fight in the history of boxing. It's really a genius move, to be honest. 1) Makes him not look like a hypocrite 2) Self justifying his stance, which is stronger than pac's 3) Makes him look like a crusader of the sport with all this media exposure 4) It's going to force Pac into getting testing. Pac is in lose lose situation. If he doesn't get testing, history will have a big question mark above his victories. If he does get the testing, he bends to Mayweather's will and people will think he is guilty, since he resisted so much against it in the beginning. And to think all Mayweather was trying to do was get in pacs head and also make sure HE is clean when he fights him. But now made it seem like he is a saint for the sport, which he isn't and he just did it so he does not look like a hypocrite. And I am a Mayweather fan saying this. But this does not free Pac from the situation. There is no reason for him not to have agreed with a testing. Mayweather agreed to all of Pac's demands, he would be tested too. I think Pac would've did it, if it weren't for Arum.
So dope testing would only be standard to Mayweather fights, which is like 1 fight every 2 years. I am sure trhere are hundreds of fights with either fighters not named Mayweather.
