Are you guys thick? I never said I hated G! I rooted against him to spite his fans not him. Look at all the saddness the lose to Canelo brought. the reaction of the fanboys is truely some funny stuff. As far as the hate for G goes..... read my posts about him. Nothing but high praise, except when I let the fan boys get in my head and said some dreadful things about him of which I feel badly about. Damn good fighter that deserves all the respect from fans and other boxers.

It's an acceptable financial move but not an acceptable legacy move since he kept screaming about "all the belrs" and we saw that was a lie.

canelo was the more dangerous opponent.

Thats said, BJ was dangerous too, equivalent now to what 3G had acheived pre-Canelo, since both BJ and 3G had 3 defences of the only title they had won.

Its true that BJ was his real rival once canelo vacated. But it may transpire that they will fight very soon, neithers tale is over yet.

Is it though !! You break down Hopkins and Haglers middleweight runs and its littered with marquee names but little guys. Im not rubbishing them just comparing, especially Hopkins run. The best man he fought at 160 beat him in Jones Jnr, everyone else is in or around GGG's level of comp in Hopkins run, if you take Oscar and Tito out, 2 guys that get stopped by a prime GGG

1-here's the catcher: canelo would have HAD to cave in and fight ggg at some point if golovkin became undisputed. No way would the proud Mexican nation allow their representative to stay at 160 and not challenge the champion--especially because canelo was the original wbc champ before vacating. Going back to 154 was not an option. Golovkin chased the money and allowed golden boy to dictate to them, why cant people just admit this?

2-he wasnt afraid of canelo but he's definitely afraid of losing. He spent his whole career marketing himself as this throw back slugger and backed down from canelo when he offered to slug it out. He was afraid of losing a slug fest to his rival that all the hardcore fans said was too chicken to fight golovkin (remember all the "El Pollo" memes?). You just cant do that and expect the judges to score the fight on slickness and technique when you literally got what you asked for!

If golovkin had a better trainer they would have done both: use his superb jab and technique to score and set up his offense then slug once he was in close range. It's prettt clear golovkin only has 1 gear and cant (or won't) change them or mix it up.

It wasn't a lie mate, it was either mega money or unify, it changed, which it should when he has a family that he can take care of generation after generation with that kind of money !

It would have been a fake undisputed anyway if he had gone for it and won against BJ, since 2 of 3G's titles were given to 3G outside the ring. He had only one title won, so adding BJ's would mean a unifiication really not a genuine undisputed.
BJ would have unified if he had won.

I dont think you understand what the word hypocrisy means. Team golovkin has a long history of making a claim then changing their stance.

The canelo fight would always be there. Canelo wouldn't be able to duck the champion and remain at 160 if golovkin had all the belts.

True but it would still give him leverage in negotiations and helped his legacy.

well it would look better on papaer to have them but bear in mind he'd have to win back the IBF from Derev if hadnt fought him.

SO thats 2 top fights to win. PLus Canelo in the future.

As we know from experience, 3G is 2-1-1 in top fights. That predicts he might not have beaten BOTH BJ and Derev, but one of them for sure. ANd then he'd lose to Canelo after, even if he did beat/draw with both derev and BJ.

Nah, maybe if your sucking off Ward then I could see your angle
Says who ? What if GGG got beat or Canelo slipped up and got beat ? Fights gone...Grab them 20-30 mil fights with both hands, absolutely laugh at the haters as your doing it !

Yeah tbh I dont even think he would have beaten the slick fast version of billy hoe that made a fool of Lemiux, but critics would have cut him some slack for doing what he said he was going to do for years and try to get all the belts.

I wouldnt give dirvenchenko much chance, but he had a chance of pulling off a decision if he avoids getting floored.

Considering the jacobs fight was very close and he is officially 0-1-1 against canelo, no matter how he went about it he wouldn't have looked like the #1 guy of his era. He wouldnt have beaten Bernard record either.

He was joint number 1 SMW after beating Lemmy and Jacobs.

Wtf does ward have to do with this? Stay on topic. Ward is a sellout, he can die in a fire for all i care.

Do you really need me to remind you of all the statements team golovkin made?

-Like saying theyd beat anyone from 154 to 168 then saying they want all the belts?

-How they tried to fight froch and Chavez jr but wouldnt fight the other guys at 168?

-How they criticized canelo for fighting amir khan because he was 2 weight classes below then they fought kell brook?

-"Black fighters dont sell" is why they wouldn't fight charlo and said he "hasnt done anything to earn the fight" but they fought wade and Monroe?

-saying that clearing up mandatories is important but they dropped the IBF belt instead of fighting Sergei?

Should i go on? There are literally dozens of articles with direct quotes.

If i was a golovkin "hater" then id be laughing at the fact he lost. Just because i dont jack off to his highlights and have a few criticisms doesnt mean i hate the man.

The fight would always be there if they both kept winning. If he wanted the fight that bad he wouldn't have played hardball in negotiations when they first started talking. Looking back at it in hindsight it's obvious that it was all about the money.

He got paid and lost his belts and lost his 0. That's what happens when you go for the money and back down from a slugfest that you asked for. If golovkin truly wanted to win he'd be honest about the fact canelo would get the benfit of the doubt if the decision was close and go for the knockout but he didnt want to get knocked out and showed his true colors. He never wanted a mexican fight:

I don't think Hopkins' and GGG's resumes are world's apart either but G's is still a little thin in terms of top quality
