Defending GGGs unwillingness to fight Ward IS a waste of time. The facts are not with you.

Im here to talk some boxing. If you're done then stop responding.

We already established that Loeffler came up with a lame excuse to avoid Ward.

What else is there to discuss?

Wrong moron... YOU'VE simply come to that conclusion....then you act like an arrogant ***** calling it a fact. You're a pretentious twat Isal, who's WAAY to full of himself. I guess when you join a message board at age 12, this is what's to be expected.

Ward sent an offer for a SMW fight scheduled for 2016. 50/50

    Golovkin said no.

Why not? Money? Both were close to being equal in terms of PPV drawing power.

Timing? Well GGG had a fight with Wade and another with a welterweight.

So 50/50 in 2016 seemed very reasonable.

What was the excuse? We can't be bothered with Ward rlin 2016, we're fighting Lemieux in 2015. Lol

He's fought two particularly good fighters in12 years, one twice and he could be 3-0, 0-3 or any other combination in those fights and there would be controversy any way (I have him 1-2).

Other than J and C his best opponent is probably... Kasim Ouma...enough said. He has also ducked a few good fights (and been ducked by a few), and never moved up in weight.

All in all I'd say he's had a very good career. HOF, but not quite great.

Too harsh. Golovkin still beats 90% of the fighters he has stylistic issues with. He beat Jacobs (who might be the best fighter of his type in the division) and beat Canelo in the first fight. And he annihilated Lemiux without trading. That was a masterclass performance.

Jacobs is a freak really. A massive middleweight (actually a Supermid/LH) who is also fast, powerful and mobile. He was literally Golovkin's worst nightmare stylistically (after perhaps, Canelo) and still got the W in Jacob's own backyard.

Canelo is also a stylistic nightmare for Golovkin, and I have that series at 1 win and 1 draw in Golovkin's favour, at least.

In fact I wonder if Sanchez's training has damaged GGG. His methodical pressure fighting is damn effective against a lot of opponents and makes good use of G's inherent toughness; but leaves him artificially limiting his own ability, in my view.
