I know that the Kbros get alot of crap for their lackluster performances. But lately I have been hearing alot of people (writers included) defending them saying THEY have cleaned out the division and THEY hold all of the major belts and THEY are just so completely dominant even if the division is weak and THEY have basically fought everyone that they could. First lets get something straight, THEY are not one person! THEY are two fighters who strategically pick and choose who each one will fight. The only guys that THEY have fought are Samuel Peter, Corrie Sanders, Chris Byrd and Ross Purity. Now more importantly, let's list the guys that THEY haven't fought... Wlad: Dereck Chisora, Tomasz Adamek, Odlanier Solis, Shannon Briggs, Albert Sonowski, Kevin Johnson, Chris Arreola, Juan Carlos Gomez, Kirk Johnson, and Lennox Lewis Vitali: David Haye, Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chageav, Hasim Rahman, Tony Thompson, Sultan Ibragimov, Lamon Brewster, Ray Austin, Calvin Brock, Jameel McCline and Ray Austin These guys are supposed all time greats and could compete in any era when they have ducked half of the division between them? It's funny how people just accept that because they are brothers that their legacies and resumes just blend together. NO......they don't. I guarantee that if they had fought each others opponents above, thier legacies and images would be greatly tarnished. And we STILL don't have an undisputed heavyweight champion......
*cough* He said "Now more importantly, let's list the guys that THEY haven't fought..." So his list is correct.
The Klitschkos are boxing's equivalent of these guys: This content is protected "We are the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world"
I saw the Road Warriors live in thier first bay area (CA) appearance in the Cow Palace "wrestling" Kirt Henning and Steve Olsonwski. As for the Klits, **** off. Very few "champions" every defeated their opposition so completely. None of the early champions, Sullivan, Corbett, Jefferies Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, or Joe Jouis fought the black contenders ( Louis only two of many: Lewis and Walcott).. Though not really his own fault, Marciano did not face Nino Valdez. Patterson is famous for ducking Williams, Foley, and Machon. Ali, though indistutably the greatest and the one guy who fought everyone, did not give Foreman his rematch. Holmes, who people lament for not having good competition, openly ducked Greg Page and Pinklon Thomas, as well as never making a match against Michael Dokes. Tyson. generally acknowledged as a first tier first vote hall of famer, never fought Holyfield until years after it was a prime match, and then lost twice. He never did figth Foreman at all, who, even at his advanced age, did better against Holy. Holy ducked nobody- what a man Lewis similar. But don't get me started abougt Bowe. Threw a title in the garbage rther than face Lewis.
