Clearly no one understands that Mosley was overtrained for the Mayweather fight.

Looked more like he undertained to me.. His body looked soft . He didn't have that usual "ripped" look , and his stamina seemed to have disappeared. He didn't look any better against Mora. Maybe age finally caught up to him/

 

So why did he look like **** in the Mora fight

 

Shane and his team have been doing this for a loooong time, and I don't think they'd make a rookie mistake like that. I haven't heard anyone else claim this either. He just got old.

 

I guess he over trained in the Mayorga fight too right?

If you take a look at things very closely you will understand that Cotto and Margarito are highly overrated. Mosley embarrassed Margarito and arguably beat Cotto who was in his prime and labeled as the next welterweight superstar while Mosley was old and shot that's pretty sad. Mosley has been shot and old for years and was turned into a sparring partner by Mayweather.

 

Floyd also kept throwing some bodyshots to Mosley's belly during their clinching moments.

 

No one looks good against someone who won't fight.

 

Perfectly realistic. It's just so hard to determine with Shane and his inconsistency.

 

Was too busy going through his midlife crisis and getting inked to train.

 

I thought he overttrained too.

still, he looked awful against Floyd which is really a testament to how good floyd is.

 

I believe he was overtrained BUT the main reason he lost so bad was because he had no plan B. Floyd adjusted, Mosley didn't, it was a "****.... what do I do now" scenario. Panic set in, he became nervous and gun shy thus looked gassed and inept, simples.

 

Not sure if Overtrained or Undertrained.. For sure its the Age.

 

And Mora?

Possibly could overtrained and peeked early, and he should of took the rest of the year off instead of fighting Mora. I know people will ask why did he look so bad against Mora, but he has never looked that good at 154 and against fighters who run!!
