I think so too, but Buatsi-Bivol is potentially months away. It would make more economic sense for Bivol to try and get another pay day in the mean time.

 

Haymon is a power broker and extremely astute. I doubt he is on the losing side of any deal for too long. He made his money in the 1980s and 1990s with Black music artists and is a music mogul too from all accounts.

 

There has never been a case in boxing history where fans haven't want the titles completely unified, this is no different.
