When Yildirim was signed as an opponent for Benavides was anyone unhappy with that fight? Charlo just had a unification bout against a decidedly not quite box office opponent, was it a bad fight? No its not. The Canelo fight "everyone" wants is one of the triple Bs; Bivol or Beterbiev with Benevidez a distant 3rd.

No one has ever been against a 4 belt unification fight. Ever. Don't try to be the first.

 

I honestly don't care about the belts. I want the best fights. I have seen nothing from Plant that makes me think he'll last 5 rounds unless he gets a taste and goes into survival mode a la Callum Smith. Seriously. If Plant were to defeat Benevidez (in a title defense if you like), then I would want to see him fight Canelo. Or maybe Plant vs the bigger Charlo and that winner fights Benevidez and that winner fights the winner of Canelo vs Bivol and then THAT winner faces Beterbiev.
