I think he was talking about before the 2nd fight. As for the 3rd fight, well, he was lucky to come out ahead in the first 2, why go back?

Canelo took some punishment, not as much as Golovkin did, but he took some punishment absolutely. I wouldn't call that cut a sign of "punishment", and though it was a good size cut, it didn't get swollen or affect him in any real way.

Not exactly. It occurred before training camp started. GGG had every reason to be upset, but his statements fueled the fire to get the match postponed. When the test was revealed, most people did not expect it to cause the match to be postponed. Most posters on this forum said the usual that the NSAC would give Canelo special treatment, would cover it up and the fight would go on as scheduled. Others said it was meat contamination and would be treated as such as the match would go forward as scheduled. That didn't end up happening. Almost no one thought the fight would get postponed..It ended up that Canelo didn't receive any special treatment whatsoever and to many people on this forum's suprise, he was suspended and the fight was postponed. GGG's statements calling Canelo a liar and accusing him of being a drugs cheat only escalated the situation, in what was always just a case of simple meat contamination.

Unnaturally muscular? Show some pictures to back up your statement. He had unlimited stamina vs Chavez, standing up between every round, which can be explained due to how easy of an opponent Chavez Jr was and due to how it was the first time Canelo didn't have to cut weight. He didn't have unlimited stamina vs GGG, quite to the contrary as he gassed in the middle rounds. You're suffering from a case of confirmation bias.

That's not the way it is, that's the way YOU see it. The way it is was that Canelo won more rounds on the judges cards than GGG did the first time, because he clearly out performed him and landed the cleaner more eye-catching shots. In the rematch, he fought in a more aggressive toe-to-toe, fan friendly style and imposed his will on GGG.

There was no luck involved. He outperformed GGG both times and deserved to win both.

GGG did not fight "Mexican Style" in the rematch. He fought in a very standard boxer puncher, work behind the jab style. That is not Mexican Style. Mexican Style is coming forward, loading up on power shots one after the other, engaging in a toe-to-toe war. That is simply not how GGG fought in the rematch. GGG fought in the complete opposite of Mexican Style, after calling for Canelo to fight in that way.

In my estimation GGG performed a lot better in the rematch than he did in the first match, but it was definitely not a Mexican Style approach. The only fighter who fought like a warrior in the rematch was Canelo. In the rematch, GGG fought a highly technical match, as opposed to the toe-to-toe Mexican Style war that he talked about. In the end, GGG talked a whole lot about how he's a fan friendly fighter and how Canelo fought too negative the first time, but when push came to shove, when the rematch happened and the bell rang, GGG clearly wanted no part of that kind of a fight.

Thats b.s. GGG always fights a fight friendly fight. He had Canelo in the worst trouble he has ever been in. If it wasnt for Canelo's muscle memory defense GGG would have taken him out or dropped him in the 10th. Didnt fight like a warrior? You dont have to throw your skills out the window to fight like a warrior.

He wasn't in any trouble. He didn't lose his balance and nearly fall over like GGG did in Round 10 of the first match.

I am saying Lil G did not fight Mexican style in the rematch. Maybe that had to do with Canelo’s aggression.
