Embarrassing that he didnt take the Plant fight in September. Now he won’t have a fight for 2 months

He could have unified all the SMW belts easily. But he and his team basically forced Plant to turn down the offer, and Bivol was smart enough not to take the fight on relatively short notice and at 168.

All of the above is embarrassing for a guy who is supposedly the PFP #1 boxer.

So you're of the idea that Canelo needed to agree to sign a multi-fight contract with PBC to get the Plant fight??

    Lol

 they way you come up with conclusions that really have nothing to do with what you quote is mindboggling. Dude didn't even mention anything about PBC, and yet you reply saying he had to??? You take more liberties than the damn nazis you admire....

Sounds like Team Bivol told Clenelo to go kick rocks about the catchweight. Most likely there was a rehydration clause, too.

Genuine question, I thought they got past that hurdle in negotiations?

In the end from what Ive seen, it sounded like the reason the fight fell through was they wanted Plant to be unable to fight anyone until he fought Canelo, should Canelo pull out.

Anyone know what the final deal breaker was in negotiations?

People are waking up and seeing the type of tactics canelo pulls to always have the upperhand on his opponents, just like floyd did

No but he needs to grow a set & fight one of the three B's
Beterbiev, Bivol & Benevidez & NOT in Vegas. Then we'd see how he does in a fair fight with no jiggery pokery
I dont think he has the stones for that though
