I think Canelo’s juiced up, but if your controlling the paste of the entire fight like he was last night I don’t see why he would be exhausted. I actually don’t think any high level fighter on the planet would be exhausted in such an easy fight.

I agree, Canelo threw alot of power shots but even when he'd stun Smith he did'nt overreact to step up the pace to try to score a knockout.
Canelo is so comfortable in his abilities right now that he's comfortable in continueing with a good solid pace and let the knockout come by itself. So many fighters overreact with they stun an opponent with a good shot that they end up over shooting and spending themselves to the point they're exhausted and now become vulnerable to the very same fighter he just had stunned.

Not only that, but Canelo let the NSAC test his hair for past Clenbuterol use. Apparently clenbuterol and other drug use shows up longer in the hair than in blood or urine. Canelo passed those tests and even Victor Conte who had scrutinized Canelo testing positive in the first place admitted it was a sign that indeed it was likely the tainted meet responsible for Canelo testing positive in the first place.

Canelo fought at his face. Had no respect for Smiths power, who was a punch bag. He expended almost no energy when he wasn't throwing. It was that easy.

I suspect Canelo of cheating because of, firstly, his multiple past failed drugs tests, amd, secondly, the striking change to his physique that we've seen over the years. Did I particularly see anything in his most recent fight that made me suspect him even more strongly? Not really.

 

If he took a hair test, that's pretty conclusive. Hair test detects whatever you've been using months and months back. I didn't know he took one. I've said this before, but if I'm a pro athlete worth north of a hundred million, I've got lab rats making me stuff that is ahead of being regulated. Why would I cheat when I can have somebody make me stuff that isn't against the rules...yet?

When it was said and done and clenbuterol was'nt detected in the hair, the detractors noted that PED's were harder to detect in red hair like Canelo's. LOL!
