Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez had hair follicle testing at request of Nevada State Athletic Commission (espn.com)

Of further note here is that while the NSAC requested hair sample to which to test Canelo for past clenbuterol use, Canelo was under no obligation to do so as as its not under the rules of the commision to ask athletes for hair samples.
Canelo did'nt have to submit to the test but did so voluntarily to prove his innocence.

Ask a Golovkin fan about it and they will bring out every excuse in the book to invalidate that hair follicle test.

    You need to get educated!
Canelo's failed drug tests stemmed from one incident. One a random drug test performed on Canelo came back positive for clenbuterol, the lab either tested the B sample or asked Canelo to test again just a couple of days after the failed first test. The fact that it again showed positive was the fact that the trace ammounts of clenbuterol was still in his system.
Both test results were from the same tainted beef incident if we assume Canelo had eaten tainted beef.

When you say multiple failed drug tests you make it seem like he tested positive on seperate occasions which is not the case, his positive tests came from the same incident.
    Education is key!!!

Are you past the age of thirty? Even a regular, blue-collar working fella's body puts on weight and muscle til at least 30. Alvarez came on the scene when he was pretty young. To go from his kid 140lb-ish lb body at early 20s to 175 or whatever he comes into the ring at now at 30 years old is not that big a deal. Especially considering that he is one of the most exquisitely trained, lavishly gifted and highly paid professional athletes on the planet. This guy is a corporation that is in the business of being in optimum physical shape and has been for years.

I think what we have here are a bunch of fanbois of various legit, recent, ATGs that live in abject fear of somebody else being elevated to a level at which they may be compared favorably to the object of their respective man-crushes. It's pretty transparent.

The first 3 rounds were for Smith. Then Canelo walked him down,

It was a good pace for Canelo. Canelo didn't need to work hard in this fight.

In comparison to say the GGG fight where for every minute of the round Canelo had to be switched on mentally as well as physically vs Smith he could pretty much do what he wanted whenever he liked.

Helps that he fought someone terrified of him. Smith fought like a little scared cat. He really should feel embarrassed about his performance,. But Canelo did his job, looked great doing it.

Dunno about him, but I'll relate to you about mine. Those 2 tough *******s John Jameson and Arthur Guinness beat the hell out of me every time. But you know what? I get off the floor and get right back at them. Everytime.

Canelo in recent years has fought from 160 to 175 and he was able to beat bigger guys.
