Canelo lands at 40-50% against the level of fighters Benavidez is accustomed to fighting while Benavidez lands at 25%-40% against that same lower level opposition, and against elite opposition Canelo lands 35-40%. Canelo is also clearly more explosive than Benavidez who is taller and longer and takes longer than the more compact Canelo to reach his target. Canelo is also much more intelligent. He doesn't get hit as cleanas Benavidez does, and Canelo is fighting much much more experienced, powerful, top fighters. Like I said, DB only has a puncher's chance son.
This is the only guy I want to see canelo fight. Both guys beat everyone else at super middle so I agree that itβs the only one that matters. We need a big Mexican vs Mexican fight
Canelo walks on water too ROFL Benavidez can beat Canelo but like what has been said before he'll have to knock him out. Sad really isnt it when you know the fight wont be on the level ?
Benavidez... Everyone knows he has to KO Canelo 3 times to lose by S/D Canelo .... Bob Bennett, the NSAC & Vegas boxing officials make sure of the above
And if Canelo wins clear or gets the KO, WHAT garbage will you spew then? Nobody takes you serious Collin
You hate canelo, a guy who fights and shows great skill, but root a guy like margarito who if it wasnt for tainted knuckle wraps wouldnt even had made a squeek of noise in boxing.. smh
I'd be embarrassed to admit I supported cowardly cheaters like Floyd & Canelo. Two Prima Donnas masquerading as boxing champions
Benavidez is the one legit threat in that graveyard division. Sure he's young and inexperienced and hasn't fought anyone remotely close to elite yet, but he's huge for the weight, is a very spiteful hitter with both hands, and he's fast with a great repertoire of punches in his arsenal and he puts them together effortlessly and beautifully and his use of angles to create openings for them is class. He's a ruthless assassin in that ring and he also has great balance too. My only real concern with him is his chin, his lack of experience at the top level, and his ability to keep making 168.
If Canelo survives 12 rounds, which his peds and training have been prioritising, he wins on points. At this stage, the Mexican big PPV bucks make him unbeatable.
I think that Benevidez got badly exposed by Gavril in the 1st fight, and isnt that great. Canelo destroys him. He is another one at SMW who is avoiding the other top boys, in the hope that it allows him to not take an L. To cash out with a fight against Canelo, as eventually it will be his turn.
