    * assuming no short training camp, rehydration clause, catchweight, but roids are a given

I think Joe's wildness/unpredictability may result in a right hand that sparks Clenelo.

The only sample we have of Clenelo at 175 is a shot to pieces Kovalev who almost got taken out by a bodybuilder a few months prior. Smith or Vlasov would beat him.

It says a lot about how highly people rank Canelo that they need to bring up guys who naturally outweigh him by about 15 lbs as people who may beat him.

Well, he brought it on himself since he actually fought at that weight and is/was a title holder at that weight, which means he should defend the title at that weight against real challengers.

Pacquiao and Mayweather won titles at LMW.

No one cares that they didn't stick around and defend titles.

Pacquiao and most of Mayweathers fans admit that it's a step too far.

Pacquiao weighed in at 144 against Margarito for a 150 catchweight fight. Pac should be competing at 140. 154 is physically impossible for him to make without being fat.

Mayweather weighed in at 150.2 against Clenelo, 151 against Cotto, and 150 against De La Hoya. Mayweather obviously is able to compete at 154 given his natural size.

Clenelo has weighed in at or very close to the limit for every weight class he's fought at:
    • 174.5 for Kovalev
    • 168 for Smith
    • 164 for Chavez (164.5 catchweight)

He may have weighed 174 against Kovalev, but I'd be surprised if he weighed anymore than that on fight night.

175 is his in ring weight. Guys like Smith get in the ring around 190
