All the P4P lists have Canelo P4P #1 ahead of Usyk. ESPN recently dropped Usyk down to #6, behind Canelo, Bud, Inoue, Spence and Fury(lol).

    https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_...-rankings-tyson-fury-keeps-climbing-now-top-5

Is ESPN a bunch of mentalists?

Not only do they have Canelo ahead of Usyk P4P, but they have him 5 spots ahead of him. So please, explain to me how every P4P list all have Canelo ahead of Usyk and in some cases well ahaed of him. If he's not seen as more skilled than Usyk then why is he ahead of him P4P?

BTW what do you think of ESPN's P4P List :

    #1 Canelo
    #2 Bud
    #3 Inoue
    #4 Spence
    #5 Fury
    #6 Usyk
    #7 Loma
    #8 Estrada
    #9 Taylor
    #10 Tank

You must think that's crazy huh.

BTW, no one had Usyk #1. 11 had Canelo #1, 5 had Bud #1.

    Only 2 had Usyk #2, 5 had Crawford #2, 4 had Alvarez #2.

Good point, totally, but just in terms of like being like the school-girl, gossipy style, rumor-mill news vs supposed real news.

But yes the mainstream is extremely untrustworthy, for sure.

Just getting their take on what the supposed sports experts think about it, who just so happen to unanimously disagree with his take. It's not like there's any disagreement who the #1 P4P fighter is ATM. That could all change on Saturday though. But as it stands, Usyk is not near the Top as many around here claim he is or should be.

"Experts".... Real experts don't give a damn about a pretend list with criteria no one agrees on. P4P is just fanboy talk...

That may be, but if we're talking about who is more skilled, Canelo or Usyk, the consensus seems to be that Canelo is recognized as being the P4P King. Claiming that you're a "mentalist" if you think Canelo is more skilled than Usyk is quite a statement. That's the kind of fanboy nonsense which I was responding to. It's one thing to argue Usyk is more skilled than Canelo, which would seem to be quite a stretch on its own, but then to go one step further and claim if you don't believe that Usyk is more skilled than Canelo, you're a "mentalist"? Come on now. That's just silly. I typically call out over the top fanboy nonsense like that on regular basis. It's one thing to have an opinion, but then to act like you're mental if you don't see it your way, which seems to be a minority view in its own right, that's asking to be called out on.

 Are you arguing about more skilled or P4P?? You realize one has nothing to do with the other??

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound_for_pound

In boxing, the term was historically associated with fighters such as Benny Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson who were widely considered to be the most skilled fighters of their day, to distinguish them from the generally more popular (and better compensated) heavyweight champions.
