After talking a lot of crap. Celestino finally accepted an invitation from Top Rank to be present at the MSQ during Juanma's fight so they can sit after the fight and negotiate the unification bout. Celestino said: " I am going but I don't think there should be any incident because we are two professionals". Don't worry Celestino. Just sign the contract. Juanma is going to make you pay in the ring. The source was the newspaper "Primera Hora".
Celestino is an honorable invited guest by the JuanMa fight promoter... He should behave accordingly... Hope we will be seeing Caballero vs. JuanMa unification fight early next year... Mtagwa please don't be a spoiler... .
Nah. I'd like to see it too but I think the most likely thing is Juanma moving up to Feather and fighting Gamboa. Gamboa is bigger in star power than Cab. Lopez and Gamboa will probably beat up their guys and get ready for a "super fight" type deal with each other. Lopez was never staying at Super Bantam anyway.
Caballero is also ready to jump to featherweight... Remember, he has the height to do so... If Caballero and JuanMa can't fight each other early next year, I'm guessing their path will eventually cross at higher weights... It's much better if they can have a super bantam unification fight before they move to higher division... .
I'm glad it looks like the fight might happen. But I don't like Celestino saying: " I am going but I don't think there should be any incident because we are two professionals". At least not after all the crap he talked. I don't have a problem with him being a respectful professional, but that quote makes him look a little cowardly even if that's not the case (and I don't think it is).
Man I want to see this fight but I'm so sick of hearing a lot of Juan Ma supporters slagging of cab. I hope the majority of Lopez fans respect Cab for calling him out to unify the division. Just wish we would stop debating about Lopez gonna do this to cab gonna do that to cab. MAYBE, but the contract is not signed yet - so enough allready.
