I wish people whould stop going on about Reyes being the punchers glove ITS NOT I own 10 oz reyes and same in grant and let me tell you Grant is alot harder glove no ifs or buts. I Use Reyes gloves to spar in i have 16oz gloves and 18oz gloves i have broken my hand ywice in reyes gloves 16oz but i still use them as i like the feel. The 18oz glove hand compartment is 2 big and you have to use to much wrapping for ya hands so the 16oz ones are good.

Grants harder than Reyes? Only if the Reyes are nicely broken in and the Grants are brand new. Grants soften up with use & have to be broken in. Even broken in, they are nowhere near as soft as a Ringside glove. Still, even under those circumstances, it's still a bit of a stretch to call Grant harder than Reyes when comparing same-size training gloves.

I'm a Grant fan myself. Reyes just do NOT fit me at all. Quality, I know people rant and rave about Reyes, but they didn't really leave much of an impression me. Meanwhile, my Grant gloves are pretty and well made.

There's no other brand like Cleto Reyes. To start, once you get the gloves you can smell the leather right away, feel the quality etc..
When you get to use them you can feel the difference from other brands, I have tried winning, grant and everlast and they are trash compared to the Reyes. I wouldnt change the Reyes for anything. Most people say they are expensive but you will be surprised if you do a little research on pricing over other brands. Winning is the most expensive and Grant there are no words for them TOO EXPENSIVE!! Those Grant are only good for looks because of the designs but they suck once you either fight or train with them. Reyes is still and probably will be the punchers glove. Made in Mexico by hand i like that from them. Its worth the price. 14 years training and boxing and 5 years with Reyes equipment
