Cletus Seldin: The Hebrew Hammer-Light Welterweight Wrecking Machine Of Shirley, Long Island.

Cletus Seldin born September 11th 1986 is a 5'7 Light Welterweight with a 21-0 17 KO's record. Born in East Yaphank, Shirley, Long Island, New York, USA and fighting out of Brooklyn. To be honest, I've seen quite a few clips of Seldin on Youtube, and while his power was devastating against lower tier opponents, I had my doubts that it would carry up, I wish I'd had the same faith in his power as I did fellow Long Islander Joe Smith Jr. because it seems like its the real deal. How far will he go after his devastation of Roberto Ortiz? Its hard to tell, his old school come forward killing machine hybrid style of Lemieux/Smith Jr. and with a touch of Moore's cross armed defense, may be a handful for more rudimentary fighters, but I have a feeling some of the more skilled operators at 140 may be able handle him with some ease. Although his power is always an X factor, especially his overhand right, which is brutal, it is a Hebrew Hammer indeed. Although he had a PED positive earlier in 2017, which is disappointing, he's supposedly on a stringent program now, and his power seems unaffected. He's the grandson of a the founder of the Dragons motorcycle gang in Bedford Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, he was friends with Yankee third baseman Clete Boyer, who Cletus is named after, and here I assumed his parents were big Dukes Of Hazzard fans. Anyway, he played football, wrestling, did jiu jitsu and was a weight lifter in High School, and set a record for 145lb guys by deadlifting 450 pounds, so he's always wanted to kick ass, and settled the perfect profession for him. So how far can Cletus go? Will he be the next Jewish sensation like Benny Leonard or Barney Ross? Or will he just be another neat KO artist that puts on entertaining fights?
