That kart is destined for glory for sure.

Tommy Karpency has a higher knockout ratio then the reigning world champion so even if Cleverly somehow manages to outbox him (unlikely I know), he always has that power bomb to unload at any time. And he's never been stopped. Not once in 24 fights.

Along with his brother, the great Jeremiah, the Karpency brothers are destined to succeed the Klitschko name as the dominant force in the heavyweight division. Nathan Cleverly and the prestigious WBO light heavyweight world championship is just a minor stepping stone on the path to global stardom.

Higher percentage than the so-called number one Bernard Hopkins as well, and that bum Pascal and ducker Dawson. 24 have tried, 21 have failed, 3 were taken pity over.

Nobody on this planet wants to see Bellew Cleverley II, it sounds as bad as Hopkins Dawson II. NO thanks.
Bellew Cleverly I was intriguing for a while but it was clear from rd 5 that noone was going to be in serious danger at any point. Noone was going down, none was getting knocked out. Once Bellew stopped being effective with his Klitschko style jab the fight was over. The only thing interesting was the build up.

Cleverly Karpency on the other hand smells of war, this could be the fight of 2012. When the history of boxing is wrote up, this could well be Chapter 1. People on both sides of the Atlantic may well be crying out for for Cleverly Karpency II, it could be a PPV event in Vegas.

I really hope he gets a fair shot. He's already been robbed once in Europe.

He has a better knockout percentage than most light heavyweight champions in history. Fact.

    Adios.

I heard he knocked out Murat and they replaced Murat with a lookalike who he promptly knocked out again at which point they said 12 rounds had been boxed and Murat won by decision (Not possible).

And people say judges and refs are bad over here... :-(

    Karpency will beat him :deal

Of course he's not great and all joking aside, it really is a **** fight especially as an alleged world title defence but I don't think he's that bad in general. I've seen the last 3 rounds against Karo Murat and he takes a few shots well, defends himself pretty well overall and looks to have enough about him to at least not be a complete bum. Plus, despite having a crap record, he has won most of his fights easily.

Apart from it being a joke to mention Hopkins and Froch then fight this guy, the most annoying thing is that from a boxing point of view he's done absolutely **** all to even half deserve it. He's fought only one round against a nobody in 18 months ffs.

But he's still gonna win and shock the world come the 25th of Feb :D

    :rofl :good

Yeah I agree he doesn't actually seem to be too much of a bum, just a poor fight for Clev when he's lost to someone Clev outclassed. I thought after the Murat fight Clev would be stepped up in competition and fighting people of a competitive level, which ultimately hasn't been the case (apart from Bellew).

Ultimately money comes into it understandably, but I'd rather any of the top 5 in the WBO or even top 10, least they have some legitimacy of fighting for a world title- not some guy who's only rated at cruiserweight even though he hasn't fought at the weight!
